Look at the CCC paragraph you posted: "This union of the mother with the Son in the work of salvation is made manifest from the time of Christ's virginal conception up to his death"

If united here means "combined with" it makes no sense. Is it alleged was she a goddess until Christ's death? Of course not; your suggestion produces a nonsensical result.

However, since united here means "harmonious mutual action, cooperation" it makes perfect sense. In reading CCC 964, it becomes abundantly clear that "combined with" is not what is meant by the text.

Uh no. The catechism specifically says, 'union of the mother WITH the Son IN THE WORK OF SALVATION.....' making Mary part of the salvation process. The only way that is possible is to make her GOD. If you can't see that, I can't help you.

No, my defintion makes perfect sense, its yours that doesn't. Again, harmonious MUTUAL action, COOPERATION....only makes sense if both were God. There can be no harmonious mutual action or cooperation if one isn't God. Again, if you can't see that I can't help you.
