Probably most of them don’t have much of a sex life...smile.
Do try to distinguish between your opinion and fact. Catholics do not believe Mary is a member of the Trinity. We do not believe she died for our sins, we do not believe she is God incarnate. We do not believe that she alone is Lord and Savior. We do not believe she rose from the dead after being crucified. We do not believe she is the Way, the Truth and the Life. We do not believe she is the great I Am. We do not believe that every knee shall bow and every tongue confess she is Lord. We do not think through her all things were made or that she is the first born image of the invisible God. We do not think she is truly present, body, blood, soul and divinity in the Eucharist. It is not her grace which acts through the sacraments. No one is baptized in her name. No one is forgive their sins in her name. No one becomes a priest to act as alter Maria.
We believe she is blessed amongst women. That she is full of grace. That she bore the person (both divine and human) of Jesus Christ within her womb. We believe she was conceived without sin through the saving merit of Jesus Christ. We believe she was assumed by His power body and soul in heaven. We do believe she can hear us and she does pray for us. We believe her faith is an example to emulate. We believe she is to be honored because of her role in salvation history. We believe she is the new Eve. We believe she is the New Ark of the Covenant. We believe in her we see the promises of God’s grace ,which is promised to all faithful, fullfilled.
The most precise description of our beliefs can be found in this prayer
“ Hail Mary full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed are thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
If you don’t like that take it up with Luke, the council of Ephesus and the Church fathers. No doubt they acted out of ignorance and from their distance from actual Christianity.
His analysis in 220 is wrong.
Do YOU really think he’s perfect? He makes mistakes and errors in judgement just like you or me. He deserves one’s respect but he’s no different from the rest of the body of Christ who believe in Him.
Ah! So there's two of us then !?!
Of course not. Catholicism doesn't teach that. Benedict himself would deny being perfect, probably with a laugh and a smile.
Nor does it say He didn’t want her to and not to have them.
Two people I’m talking to right now about this topic.
Of course now there’s three.
Oh, I’m sure of that, dear Petronski.
Never say never, lastchance. You don’t know how all Catholics worship any more than I know how all protestants worship. Everyone has their own belief system, even within Catholicism and protestantism.
The Game here is to present a false image of Catholicism and bash the false image.
co-whatever it is we are ‘ones’ of...
OH DEAR!
I see we have that old RC edifice perceptual problem again!
Maybe we need an abbreviation for it RCP2
. . . this chronic incapacity/unwillingness to see the
DIFFERENCE
BETWEEN
SAME VS DIFFERENT! LOL.
Lesson 1:
Noting a phenomenon performed by others is hardly bragging.
In otherwords—for those in Rio Linda—
NOTING is NOT the SAME as bragging.
Lesson 2:
God merely AWARDS the points. ‘Tis the RC’s making them for some of us Prottys.
Once again, re RCP2:
AWARDING is NOT
the SAME
as
MAKING.
Sheesh. I hope we don’t have to start with A, B, C, D, E, F, . . . at some point.
This is worse than regression toward the mean . . . It’s beginning to sound like regression toward . . . the bottom.
I don’t make claim to that. I just read what seems clear. You called him a liar. You can get bounced off the threads for that. I’m sure you have a good heart (and a bit of a temper, too, huh? Smile)
Well, if he hadn’t, then Jesus wouldn’t have had brothers and sisters. You can call them cousins all you want, but the bible clals them brothers and sisters. That’s good enough for me in my no spin zone theology.
As has been explained here may times, co is used in the sense of the Latin “cum,” meaning “with.”
I actually know a white Amish woman named Jemima. She’s a great baker!
“God have mercy!
Folks actually believe such convoluted nonsense!
I must say, it helps convince me more and more that the whole Maryology stuff is being set up as an aid to the global government and the one world religion.
Shocking.
Horrific and shocking.”
Yup. The link between RCC and Islam will be their worship of Mary.
