The mariology cult is just making up additional orthodoxy to suit their imaginations.

INDEED!
In other words, we can play nice with the Roman Catholic Church, as long as we play by their rules.
= = =
Which is always translated as
Construe reality as we do using our
—Rubber Bibles
—Rubber histories
—Rubber dictionaries
—Rubber logic texts . . . and the latest
—Rubber mathematics [”a few = 66]
That’s not gonna work very good- We can play nice, certainly, but the rules are clearly defined in the Rule Book. :)
Anything amended to that changes the game into one I need not play at all.

INDEED.
INDEED!
I suspect we will see many of Mary’s blood descendents ruling and reigning with Christ in incredibly potent positions.
I don’t think Mary herself would be less than outraged at what they’ve turned her name and image into . . . if she were allowed to be aware of such, at all.
It’s still shocking to me that you honestly believe so much nonsense about all that. Amazing. Shockingly amazing.
We know that Satan appears as an angel of light. Something sweet, wholesome, desirable, ethereal ... a dangerously tempting substitute for reality. The Incarnate God is earthy, practical, and for-real genuine. Definitely a richer and more wonderful Entity than any bedecked fantasy.
>>Without Marys YES(Fiat) there is no Salvation for you.<<
Christianity does not support that. In fact, it goes counter to Christ’s own words.
Some would call it downright blasphemy. I don’t really like that word though.
>>Listen carefully to the words of Blessed Saint Irenaues in 189 AD<<
Yeah, I read that quote. I assume this is some sort of joke post.
Christianity does not support the Incarnation without Mary’s involvement.
Like it or Not!
>>Christianity does not support the Incarnation without Marys involvement.<<
I agree 100%
YOU cannot support the death and resurrection without the Jews and the Romans either.
Mary was not chosen by God because she was blessed, she was blessed because she was chosen by God. She, like the rest of us is imperfect and needs the blood of Christ for salvation.
It was not part of the requirements of a blemish free lamb that it’s parents be blemish free.
Mary was the incubator, although that would bless any woman I know.
Who is Jesus mother? He made it pretty clear in Matthew 12:
46While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. 47Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.”
48He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” 49Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. 50For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”
Mary was one of MANY characters surrounding the story of God, and the historical relationship between man and man, and God and man. All worshipful and deity focus is on Jesus, not his earthly ancestors. They/we are mere flawed human beings.
I have no relationship with Mary. My relationship is with Jesus.
Call it a running gag. ;-)
| Psalm 68 | DOUAY-RHEIMS
Salvum me fac, Deus. Christ in his passion declareth the greatness of his sufferings, and the malice of his persecutors the Jews; and foretelleth their reprobation.
9 I am become a stranger to my brethren, and an alien to the sons of my mother.
Psalm 69 [68]Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition
(There is a discrepance between Douay-Rheims and other Bibles)
8 I have become a stranger to my brethren, an alien to my mother's sons.
Psalm 69 NAB
9. I have become an outcast to my kin, a stranger to my mother's children.
His mother had other children???????????????
“Its still shocking to me that you honestly believe so much nonsense about all that. Amazing. Shockingly amazing.”
It’s absolutely shocking that you think the Revelation of St. John Divine is a treatise on space-demon aliens in motherships.
It is shocking that you interpret Ezekiel I as a space vehicle when Ezekiel spends an entire chapter describing truth.
I wouldn’t throw stones at dogma, and expect everyone to nod sagely at Quix’s Take on the Revelation According to Himself.
Well, let’s just say that calling Roman Catholics ‘pagans’ ‘heretics’ and ‘idol worshippers’ among other nice things can be interpreted as an expression of anger. One poster reported once that he had never met a Baptist who didn’t hate Catholics, and I had no reason to disbelieve him.
As for the Pentacostals, how do I tell whether or not the group that sets up loudspeakers on the Avenue, preaches, hands out miniscule flyers and sings badly, is Pentacostals, Seventh Day Adventists or those guys who would sooner let their children die of the flu than give them aspirin? They are all part of the great big mass of Christians who despise the Holy See and claim that every man is a priest, and if that is indeed the case, then why do we need any church at all, and why should I listen to anyone’s interpretation of the Holy Book? I’m a priest too, yo!
“She was not asked.”
Mary had free will.
You view it from an absolutist, Calvinist, Islamist-like literal view of Scripture and God that doesn’t allow for free will.
Catholics believe in free will.
“It’s absolutely shocking that you think the Revelation of St. John Divine is a treatise on space-demon aliens in motherships.”
I had never heard anything like this before....perhaps someone could expand on this, just for my own information...
“It is shocking that you interpret Ezekiel I as a space vehicle when Ezekiel spends an entire chapter describing truth.”
Now, this one I have heard before, from that TV preacher, Arnold Murray....Murray also fully expects to be riding in that vehicle in the future....
There seem to be many things, that some folks get from their readings and interpretations from the Bible...
But I would be curious to hear more about these space-demon aliens in motherships...
“But I would be curious to hear more about these space-demon aliens in motherships...”
I find the whole thing confusing and contradictory but apparently there is a whole pantheon of demons who will take part in a “grand deception” arriving around the time of the Anti-Christ who will decieve people with their super duper stuff from the multiverse. Soon. I think Quix has written within months.
Area 51 is part of it. Oh, and the “Ascended Masters.”
This goes along with the one world government and some other interpretations that are definitely out there.
I firmly believe in live and let live. If someone wants to desperately believe this stuff, let him.
But, if someone throws mud, I think their own myths, the Gospel According to It Means Whatever I SAY It Means, needs to be out there for public review.
