Dear Nora,

i was privileged to know "Devereaux". he was/is my "compatriot-in-arms". each of his "brothers in arms" honor both his service & his memory.

"Devereaux" doesn't need my prayers, as he rests, as i write these lines, in the sheltering arms of our Eternal Savior, forever.

otoh, as for me & our house,we will pray for you in this time of terrible sadness. i will burn candles for you all for the next 3 days.
