WOW!
Okay, lets organize a “Move Christmas to September!” movement, to snatch it away from the Kwanzaa/Hanukkah/Ramadan mess. We then could really say Merry Christmas, and keep the day out of the happy holiday conglomeration.
For later
The part that says:
Herod took Jerusalem late in 36 BC (on Yom Kippur in a sabbatical year, so well remembered
is not true. That year was not a Sabbatical year. For the simple reason that we are currently in the Shemitah Sabbatical year 5768 on the Hebrew calendar. The Julian date 36BC corresponds to 3726 Hebrew. If you subtract 3726 from 5768, and then divide by 7 you get 291.7 . If it was a sabbatical year, it would have to be in 3731 (31BC) or 3724 (38BC) which divide evenly with no remainder.
Based on this gross error, I personally dont put much faith in this article.
Bless you in your search for TRUTH.
