See Who's Receiving Communion in San Francisco

A Catholic parish in San Francisco has been classified alongside graphic San Francisco sex-fest sponsor Miller Brewing after officials served Communion to members of the ultra anti-Catholic "Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence," whose mockery of Christianity is legend in the city.

The service was captured on video by a member of the Catholic group St. Joseph's Men Society, and it has been made available Catholic blogsite Quamdiu Domine.

Two "sisters" at Holy Redeemer church in San Franscico

"I doubt that even Judas would have done such a perverse thing as this," said Anthony Gonzales, president of the men's organization. "Not only did [Archbishop George] Niederauer sell out our Lord for human respect but deliberately crucified Him again within the very sanctuary of the church that he was consecrated to protect. If Rome does not remove him immediately from his position and excommunicate him for this evil, then Rome itself becomes complicit in the crime. Enough is enough!"

The archbishop told LifeSiteNews he didn't notice anything unusual about the members of the congregation to whom he served Communion.

“just to correct the record, no one “refused” to translate the Bible. “

Not sure I agree with this part of what you posted. Martin Luther was almost killed because he translated the bible. Of course education levels were much lower but from my viewpoint it was due to people using religion to maintain control of the masses.

“Sorry about the length of the response....lost control of myself there! ;)”

Intelligent discourse is always welcome on my part. I did get angry and offended at being insulted and wasn’t clear. I don’t agree with the Catholic doctrine and don’t claim to be an expert in it. I’ve asked numerous Catholics about my question areas but usually they can’t explain.

Personally I find the attitude that the world revolves around any particular religion to be misguided. God made this world and everything in it.

“A lie is a *deliberate* falsehood. It has to be done with intent to deceive.”

and the "intent" of those who besmirch the Catholic Church, Catholicism & Catholics by posting inaccuracies is...

I rest my case

Good old Ben Franklin...warms the heart of this Philly boy. :)

Nothing wrong with debate now and again—even a spirited one. But charity, charity, charity must animate all of it.

If we all approach closer to Christ, we will all approach closer to each other. Unity is simply not possible outside of Him.

“That is a lie!”

No its not, you’ve been attacking me ever since I pointed out a detail that was in the story YOU POSTED but failed to read.

“In fact the only time I addressed you regarding bigotry was here...”you can dance around the issue all you like but we Catholics know an anti-Catholic bigot when we see one.”

[Bigot a person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief, or opinion.] I have not been intolerant. I have only said I did not have the same belief. Shame on you for your blindness and inability to admit you made a mistake.

“If the hat fits then get used to wearing it and take your anti-Catholic smears back to the DU where you will be appreciated!”

I smear terrorists and idiots. I don’t smear catholics and have never even been to DU.

“Now quit bothering me!”

With pleasure since its a pointless waste of time. You’ve shown you are incapable of having a rational discussion and flame anyone who doesn’t agree with you.

“Thats about the 20th time you’ve called me a bigot?”

That’s a lie!

In fact the only time the word “bigot” was addressed to you was here “you can dance around the issue all you like but we Catholics know an anti-Catholic bigot when we see one.”

now if the shoe fits, then get used to wearing it.
In the mean time, you can take your anti-Catholic smears back to the DU where you will be applauded.

Now quit bothering me!

How is anything I said even close to be as offensive as what is happening in San Fran?

Don’t be tapping your foot. It could get you arrested. Ironic considering the subject of this story, no?

IMO the response to this (or lack of a response) is very similiar to the abusive priest issue. Rather than face the issue people would rather attack those that bear the news.

The hiding of that has done more damage to Catholics and Christianity in general than any other single issue (man made). How much damage with this one church do? You can sheperd sinners without condoning their sin. Just my opinion and hopefully you won’t find this offensive.

I actually don’t find it offensive. We HAVE to hold ourselves to our own standard.

I just hope you’re not under the impression that we condone these sorts of things. It’s the liberals that condone it, and we’re busy trying to kick them out of power.

No I don’t think that. I am confused as to why its allowed to continue though. We definately need to get liberals out of power.

I think you are blinded by your disdain for others that don’t tow the “catholic” line. I haven’t seen the supposed anti-catholic bias you are ranting about just substantiated facts that may in some people’s eyes paint catholics in a less than positive light. To be honest I can explain many things wrong with the catholic church ranging from idolatry to the veneration of “saints” but that is not germane to this particular discussion.

"think?"

there's no thought in your lies.

To be honest I can explain many things wrong with the catholic church ranging from idolatry?

"explain?" You can't explain squat. Because from your post you are obviously totally ignorant of Catholicism. "Honest?"...you would know "honesty" if it ran over you...you entire post is inundated with lies. "Idolatry?" Your ignorance of Catholicism is only trumped by your disdain for Holy Mother Church. Run along now and quit bothering me. I have neither the time or the inclination to dignify your inane comments with any more response other than; read my tagline...it fits you to a tee! ROFLMAO

If we as Christians could really come together we could change things in this country. I appreciate any Christian that was disgusted at what happened in what is suppose to be a Catholic church. But folks we have got to come together because divided the enemy can convert many souls. Especially the young people!
