Um, that’s why I used italics for the part that is from me not from the Bible. Nice try though ...

You are so knowledgeable, go ahead and cite it.

It is obvious, from your non-response, that you don't want to tackle this theological question.

That's ok; I'll not press you any farther, but know this: if you are going to challenge others on THEIR posting of Scripture - you've now left a trail showing your ignorance of it.

God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are,

I think we are being called derelict in our duty for not doing this.....

YOU were citing a creed to which I do not subscribe, and then berating both me and the founder of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. You never cited any scripture in support of this “creed”. It is your “creed”, not mine. Defend it if you can!

Here's the question to you: Is the pile of letters true?

The only reasonable response under the conditions imposed is that I am without sufficient knowledge or information to form a belief about the veracity of the letters.

Cordially,

Sorry, OMM; that's not how it works.

You see, you are defending Mormonism.

I am showing the FOUNDATION of it all: that Joseph Smith claims that God the Father and Jesus Christ appeared to him and said, "Their creeeds are an ABOMINATION to me!"

That statement is what the entire LDS organization is built upon.

ANYONE who tries to support and defend that organization should know, at the very least, WHY it came into existance.

Therefore, I ask you one more time...

What is so ABOMINABLE in that creed??

“It isn’t like he has a fatwa against him.”

[Yea, try living in Utah and say that. Sorry but the Mormons pretty much run or have a hand in everything here and one could easily be black balled in this state.]

I live in Vegas and have many of the same experiences. Pretty hard to tell people about it here without being called an “anti-Mormon Bigot”.

I can’t see opposing Romney based on his religion when there are SO many other, more valid reasons to do so.

"Apparently, it’s not something they acknowledge openly, however."

They'll send you a cd that proclaims it if you request it though.

For me, it is the attitude of those that wave around a false creed and demand that I subscribe to it to be a Christian. Thou hypocrite!

“I have problems with the judgment of someone who believers the nonsense of Mormonism.”

Would you like to see a law passed that stated that only mainstream Christian candidates may be elected President?
