This address by liturgical scholar (excluded from the formation of ELW) and parish pastor Frank Senn produced an electrifying result because at its conclusion eighteen clergy immediately filled the aisle of the chapel to await their opportunity to sign the Rule. It was the closest thing to a Billy Graham rally I've ever witnessed in a Lutheran setting.

Very interesting! Is this a religious community? Or just a pious association of ministers?

They seem to have a very sacramental approach.

.....Given the apostasy of the papal church (the only church at the time), it would be easy to say that Christ has abandoned his church....

WRONG!!!! There was, and is, also the Holy Orthodox Catholic Church of the East. Despite its domination by islam at the time (even in Russia, which was struggling to overcome the Tatar and Ottoman yoke), Christ had not abandoned her, and she was and is the visible Church.

Luther well knew this. And many of our Missouri Synod Lutheran brethern, who know the Book of Concord better than we lied-to and spoiled ELCA folks do, know just how close we Lutherans really are to Orthodoxy, as well as the differences.

There will be a symposium in Detroit in September (10th-11th) to promote learning about Orthodoxy for Lutherans:

After it is over, the talks will be avaiable on that website in audio form.

Frank Senn was actually on the “Renewing Worship” committee that eventually produced the bogus, heretical “ELW”. But—as planned from the begining—feminazis like Gordon Lathrop and Gail Ramshaw dominated the process.

The great liturgical scholars like Eugene Brand who produced LBW were totally excluded from the beginning, as also planned. And the truly great, philo-Orthodox liturgical scholar Luther Reed, who led the effort to produce SBH, has long ago joined the Church Triumphant. May his memory be eternal!!!!
