"The thing that struck me," said Dan Donnelly, "was the commonality that pervades. We have significant doctrinal differences. They don't believe in the Trinity or in the divinity of Jesus, but we have a common father who created us and we should all love one another."

If it weren't for that meddling Jesus, we could all be friends!

How stupid can a "c"atholic be, so as to not know that Muslims do not believe in the divinity of Jesus, and find any reason to attend a mosque. It is sad when a supposed Catholic does not know how the Church in North Africa was decimated by force who knows that apartheid is alive in well in most Muslim nations.

How can one find common cause with someone who denies the divinity of Jesus while 21st century martyrs call out with blood?

He later explained that Muslims consider Jesus to be a prophet, but not divine.

And thus the religion of islam is BLASPHEMOUS to ALL Christians no matter their denomination.

I wonder if the muslims from Wappinger's Falls (only a few miles down the road from me!) will be going to Mass at the church in Garrision? Ugh. This is sickening...I can safely say that if the imam from the giant mosque at Lexington and 95th St called my bishop at my cathedral on Park & 93rd to have a field trip my bishop would tell him to get lost.

"Dr. Ahmad spoke 'In Praise of Mary' and at the end of his talk

Bishop Sheen believed that the miracle of Fatima would be the bridge that would bring Mohammedans to Christianity, since Mary enjoys an exalted position within Mohammedanism, and Fatima was Mohammed's daughter.

Imam Khan is a Pakistani who holds master's degrees in Arabic and Islamic studies.

Is that like holding black belts?

This reminds me of what happen early in July when this Muslim organization had its annual conference in Hartford at the convention center, held a few days after Independence Day. They had a special seminar for non-Muslims to learn about Islam. Even the local newspaper the Hartford Courant covered it. They had it on the Saturday of the conference. The following day there was a protest by the convention center because they had a speaker with connections to Hamas.

Dear Fellow Catholics,
Here’s what you need to know about Muslims;

For 400 years BEFORE the Crusades, Muslims killed Catholics!

Christ’s admonition to “Love thy enemy.”, did NOT include capitulation and endorsement of their errors.

The problem is that the God of Abraham and the Dad of Christ is NOT Allah.

Allah was a pagan moon god that Muslims later claimed was the original God to find validity in their death cult religion of peace.

They worship a crazy god of war and vengeance.
Jews and Christians are peaceful when they worship their ONE GOD!

Big difference IMO.

Franciscan Friars of the Atonement? I’m not familiar with this religious order. At first I thought of Fr. Benedict Groschel, but then I remembered he is with the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, a very pious and traditional group of friars.

It’s hard to keep these religious orders separate in my mind. Are the FF of the Atonement a liberal group?
