Touche, although Rocco himself insists that the embargo is specifically for media granted “early copies” of the text three hours before its “public” release tomorrow.
Nonetheless, I’m gathering over the last few minutes that Rocco’s access to the text was an anomoly; a singlular “leak” in the truest sense of the word. In other words, the complete text has not yet broken embargo to the general public. I suppose the decision of whether or not to indulge in reading his quote-filled commentary revolves around one’s own understanding of the Holy Father’s “wishes.”
It’s still news on the MP, make of it what you will.
I was a little puzzled by this “leak,” because all it has done is give the opponents (the usual European bishops of dioceses of empty churches) a chance to launch a preemptive attack.
I'm not going to indulge in it anyways... Rocco's style just gags me a little bit. To each his own.
Pardon me all, but how can we know that Mr. Palmo’s document is actually the one that will be released? Can this not be a “stir the pot” by some Modernist and Mr. Palmo be the useful idiot? In any case, we will learn by tomorrow. I hope EWTN carries a TV feed.
