I thought about doing the same. I’ve no doubt that they teach Real Presence, but I contend that there is a slight difference from the Latins in the area of Transubstantiation causing reticence about using the term.

The term “substance” as used by St. Thomas and others in reference to the Bless Sacrament reflects the Credal meaning than that of Aristotle. Maybe that is what led Luther to use the term “consubstantiation.”
