**When a Catholic looks in the Bible they will not find purgatory.**

Oh, yes, purgatory references are in the Bible! I will post them later. This write needs our prayers, doesn't he?

You will notice with Protestants that when they agree with something that Church fathers have agreed upon since the beginning(the Trinity, etc.) the exact phrase does not need to be in the Bible; however, if they don't agree with something, it needs to be explicitely spelled out and the exact term used.
