You are correct.. The Book of Revelation was written by John for the Christians of that day who were being persecuted. It is written with a lot of code in it. Things that the Christians would have understood. I have posted a couple other posts with the parallels.
Babylon meant Rome.

No less than our own Bible experts on this thread claim that if Biblical writers wrote in code, then the entire Bible needs to be re-examined and re-interpreted, since if there is one code, then there are many, and the Church Fathers cannot have been expected to understand such things.
I'm glad that FR has people that will step up and completely remake Christianity in the way that it ought to be, and not rely on the succession of corrupt idiots that have guided us for 2000 years.
