So you are saying then that those who partake of the Body of Christ and the Blood of Christ during the Mass are born again and saved, correct?

Nope. Do you think that everyone and anyone who partakes of the communion host is born-again? Does partaking of the same make one born-again? How many people in your church and other churches live like the devil all week long and then come for communion on Sunday and think that that piece of bread is their ticket to heaven?

UC: Can I ignore the last question on the basis that we haven't compiled the survey results yet? (The early trend though is,"I don't do that, but I'm not so sure about those other people ....)

Appealing to Paul, we Calflicks are pretty clear that partaking of the Sacrament unworthily is VERY bad mojo, eating and drinking judgement, rather than grace. Not only is it not recommended, it's recommended against.

If, we say, you are aware of being in a state of mortal sin, you ought not to partake until you have been shriven.

From what you say here -- I gather than you do not believe in the Sacrament of Baptism that washes away all of original sin -- making the person being baptized, whether infant, child or adult -- born again without sin in your words.
