I've got to meet this guy - I live here in San Antonio. We have only two traditional Mass offerings in the city. One is not sanctioned - offered by SSPX. The other is sanctioned by the archdiocese, but is held in the chapel of a local nursing home.
There are only about 40 seats available in the nursing home chapel, but it's SRO every Sunday. The bad part is that the priests who celebrate Mass there are either (a) too old or (b) too unfamiliar to speak loudly and properly perform the Mass.
Mumbling by the priest makes it difficult to participate - and difficult to educate my kids about what's going on when we attend.
That is why recognition of a general right to say the TLM and/or a separate, formal juridicial structure is needed. I hope the Holy Father grants one or both soon.
