That is why recognition of a general right to say the TLM and/or a separate, formal juridicial structure is needed. I hope the Holy Father grants one or both soon.
I just wish permission would be granted to say the Old Rite in the vernacular as well as Latin. NO MUMBLING ALLOWED.
I just wish the ancient rites of Holy Week, pre-1956 would be restored because of their antiquity.
If Benedict XVI regularized the Old Rite parallel to the new rite, it would sap the wind out of the sails of the SSPX, except for the die-hards.
It also could bring an end to the rule of the '60s radicals in the Catholic Church.
