It's attested to by numerous contemporary historians and was apparently a source of great outrage in the early 6th century. The only thing at issue is the number of Christians Dhu Nuwas actually killed. Estimates have ranged from as low as 300 up to 20,000.

Just because you recognize that a Jew may have done a bad thing in history, doesn't make you an anti-semite. I'm a Judeophile. However, I will not close my eyes to atrocities committed by groups that I admire.
