Sionnsar, somebody told me V. Gene Robinson's full name was actually Victoria Eugenia. That his parents wanted a daughter. Is that actually true?

If so, no wonder the poor guy is so messed up. (And what a horrible mid-Victorian name even to give a GIRL! I had a great grandmother named Eugenia Anne . . . but she was born in 1850!) Too bad he has to channel his feelings into destroying an entire denomination.
