Doctor:

Yes, it is my choice to sin, my decision to sin, my responsibility that I sin. I own every sin I commit and I deserve God's wrath for each one.

And every sin, like everything else in existence, was ordained from before the foundation of the world by God for His glory.

Does this puzzle you?

It puzzled Nicodemus, too. But Christ rebuked him, saying "Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit." (John 3:7-8)

Your Scriptural excerpt is non sequitor -- it does not have anything to do with the point raised. You state that God has planned everything and planned that Dr. Eckleburg will sin in this and this fashion and Mother Teresa in this fashion and Hitler in this fashion (no insult intended, Dr, I'm NOT comparing you in any way to that monster, just bringing him up as an extreme). So, if God said -- Let's make Hitler a monster -- then logically it's not Hitler's fault.

The Scriptural post points out the need to choose to be Born Again -- free will

I find it far more puzzling to believe God created all life and then sat back to merely watch it unfold. God's omniscience is not defined like that. God's sovereign knowledge of His creation includes every jot and tittle of existence. And if it exists in the mind of God as reality, then it is reality, will become reality, cannot become anything but this reality.Again, you aren't reading what we've said over and over and over again -- we proclaim loudly that God is OMNISCIENT -- he KNOWS all and SEES all. The fact that He knows the sins you and I will commit does NOT mean that He ordains it. We proclaim god's OMNISCIENCE, His OMNIPOTENCE and His LOVE

Further, to say God's foreknowledge is non-determinate is absurd. God knew Judas would betray Christ, yet He made Him anyway. Did Judas have a "choice" not to betray Christ? So, you're contradicting yourself. First you thought we didn't believe in God's foreknowledge, here you say we do (well we DO)
Did Judas have a "choice"? Yes he did. He choose to sin of his own volition. God didn't force him to betray the Christ.

Where does it say in Scripture that we "choose" whether or not to be born again? Did you "choose" to be born the first time?

Maybe this is like "electing yourself" as someone said earlier.
