"Really the issue of Robinson's consecration and the blessing of same-sex unions is simply the presenting issue of a deep, deep disease in the Episcopal Church and its leadership," Ashey explains, "which is the abandonment of Holy Scripture as the basis for what we believe." I believe that they absolutely did the right thing and will be better served under the authority of Bishop Kisembo. Maybe this will be a wake up call for others in the ECUSA who have been apathetic about what is happening to them.

The congregation plans to keep its name and will continue to worship at Little River Elementary School in South Riding.This is the reason the ECUSA will not fight it (much) in that the churches' only real asset is its name. Had the congregation owned a building, the lovely little liberals would have hammered them....
