The question has to be asked, if all that the report claims is true, why does the Bible not mention it clearly?

Why doesn't the Bible mention the Trinity clearly?

Reread the Epiphany passages of the Gospels: Jesus, dove, God the Father: "This is my beloved Son in Whom I am well pleased." Can't get much clearer than that.
