You are correct in that Isaiah 14 deals with the judgment of Israel's neighbors and distant blood kinsmen [sons of Abraham].

The book of Isaiah chapters 13:1-23:18, Jeremiah 46:1-51:64,and Ezekiel 25:1-32:32 all deal with the same group of nations.

There are two groups of nations that God judges for their treatment of Israel throughout history and to the present.

One is the nations of her kinsmen, nations local to the middle east. The other are the gentile nations of the world.

He judges both but at different times. With her kinsmen He judges them in Ezekiel 38&39 in the so called War of Gog and Magog and which involves local players in a relative local area of the globe.

The rest of the nations of the world are dealt with in the battle of Armageddon which has disastrous effects on the whole planet and in which all of the nations world is involved.

In it you have a western confederation of nations led by the Antichrist and the Kings Of the East coming against Israel which is an entirely different set of adversaries from those in Ezekiel.

You will notice in The book of Revelation that speaks of this battle there is no mention of the players in the War of Gog and Magog who have already been dealt with in Ezekiel at an earlier time.

You are right that the U.S. is not a very good friend of Israel. What is surprising to most people if you really study the history you'll find out as a nation we never have been.

We have basically only given lip service as far as the government is concerned.

. We have never come to their aid in any of the four major attacks they have suffered even though each time it looked like they faced certain annihilation. Each time it was the miraculous intervention of God who saved them.

We didn't even vote for them to become a nation in 1948 and we have certainly given their enemies as much money in aid as we have ever given them and for a bonus we gave them Yassar Arafat and the PLO.

Our next generous offer on the immediate horizon is a full blown terrorist state right in the middle of their homeland .

Throughout the Bible God has repeatedly warned Israel about placing their faith in foreign alliances instead of Him. Every time they have they have paid a heavy price for doing so including the one with us.

The reason you don't see much in prophecy about the U.S.is because we fast becoming just becoming part of the crowd of the Commercial and Religious Babylons we find in the Bible.

As Diane Alden would say We're no longer a Constitutional Republic but a Commercial Republic.
