Matthew Fox [spit] ping.
Anyone know if this guy's gone ECUSA in Cali?
I remember hearing him on the radio. I thought he was bananas then. This is crazy but it is his right. I invite skepticism and inquiry and his ideas should be open and let people decide. I've investigated a number of religions and denominations of christianity and I've come back around to the RCC.
As long as the ECUSA understand who he is and really want him, I say great and good riddance.
If they DON'T know, well, just let me say BE AFRAID...
That was enough for me...no need to read further.
I went back for more barfola...and, as I expected, it gets worse:

Since homosexuality is found among 464 species and in 8 percent of any given human population, it is altogether natural for those who are born that way and is a gift from God and nature to the greater community.

Homophobia in any form is a serious sin against love of neighbor, a sin of ignorance of the richness and diversity of Gods creation as well as a sin of exclusion.
Homophobie ist in jeder Form eine ernste Sünde gegen die Nächstenliebe, eine Sünde gegen den Reichtum und die Vielfalt in Gottes Schöpfung wie auch eine Sünde der Ausgrenzung.

Racism, Sexism and militarism are also serious sins.
Rassismus, Sexismus und Militarismus sind ebenfalls ernsthafte Sünden.
They should think twice about him. His agenda is Matthew Fox centered, not God centered. But ECUSA has had their own polarizing issues....
OH, the pic just loaded. Gee, how original. He really, really wants those 15 mins of fame, making sure he's photographed actually nailing a paper to the door. Gag.
Laughter or pity, my emotions about Fox are mixed.
Actually, I think if ECUSA knows who he is and wants him, that's also cause to be afraid. Very afraid. He's trouble. Just a thought - perhaps he's come forward with his 95 theses because he's caught wind of the talks between the Anglicans and the Romans about the role of the Blessed Mother and their attempts to agree on it. I guess he has to rush to make sure that the Anglican's American brethren, the ECUSA, don't rush into that choice...
I don't have much pity for him because he works so hard to lead others astray, he is ever changing up his m.o. to break down all things Catholic. I don't think it's accidental and this mitigates any pity I might have for him. What he teaches today, 5 or 6 new agey nuns will embrace tomorrow and share with a dozen or so retreat and catechetical groups the next day, and, well, you get it... Enneagrams worked their way in my diocese in that way.
Well put.
Ok, I've read through the theses. He's certifiable.
Scanning his list, he will probably be a good fit in the ECUSA. If they are too conservative for him, he could always try the United Methodists or the PCUSA.
An interesting juxtaposition. Episcopal ministers who dissent with the direction of the ECUSA are coming into the Catholic Church, while (finally) a catholic dissenting priest has found his way home to ECUSA. Our gain; your loss.
