The second Sunday of February has been designated as Covenant Marriage Sunday. Our goal this year is to have thousands of congregations across our nation and around the world joining in a celebration of marriage as a covenant relationship. We are preparing for the biggest day ever for celebrating "Marriage" and we want you with us.

The theme for the 2005 Covenant Marriage Sunday is, “Embracing the Heart of Marriage.” In a day when our nation is fighting to maintain the institution of marriage as God designed it, we offer your congregation a way to publicly affirm its belief in marriage as a covenant relationship between a man and a woman.

I know they mean well, but I wish this would just go away.
