W is under attack viciously because he represents an actual threat to the direction the Left has been driving this country for 6 decades. He is an honest man who states clearly what he is going to do and has, so far, been very resistant to political polls and the drifting winds of opinion. He has a conscience and lets it guide him and he apologizes to no one for pursuing a stated objective. Three years ago I heard him say the war would be like no other, it would be difficult and we could only win by staying true to our purpose. That is still his position and such dedication scares and confuses the Left.
