In this useful resource, the author (a former practicing astrologist and now Christian) discusses the history and methodology of astrology. He details its contradictions, inconsistencies and violation of real science. He also describes the points where it crosses over into the occult, inviting in demonic activity. In one section he also discusses the problems with the “gospel in the stars” theory that some Christians have latched on to.

No. It's damn stupid, in fact. Not only is there a wrong spiritual aspect to it, but it's aura of pseudo-science draws people away from understanding actual science.
