Here are the some of the results of a 1999 Gallup poll on creationism, evolution, and public education :
49% believe that human beings have developed over millions of years from less advanced forms of life.
Evolution theory is the most important weapon to twist people's minds.
For 99% of the people the most important REAL reason for believing in it : a trick that costed a few bucks, 100 years ago.
Even more incredible : the trick has remained the same until now.
Only lately, with very fast computers that allow virtual reality software to perform convincing enough, have we seen some effects added to the base trick.
I wonder who is the first Freeper to find out the trick behind the most devastating lie in the history of mankind.

No, in other words you dont have the scientific education to follow what I might sayWhat, education in the para-normal?
All I know is that you are full of bluster, BS and hate. When called on the carpet to justify any of your hate filled remarks, you ran away like the coward you are. If you are into science then you would understand the value of evidence. So far there is zero evidence of intelligence, and plenty of evidence of hate and foolishness.
Why don't you go back outside and play on your skateboard and let the adults slap each other around here?
To: Sentis
Your only clue that I'm immoral is the fact I'm an athiest.By definition of "atheist" denying the existance of God, and the definition of "morality" a state of being in accord with God ordained standards of conduct, it is axiomatic that you are immoral. This is not something that is up for debate. You may have subjective and flexible value system, but it should not be confused with "morality" which is neither subjective nor flexible.
Who is the ignorant bigot?
By evidence of your ignorance to the meaning and implication of words I think you qualify for the "ignorant" part, and by the fact that your only contribution so far to this thread is to defend your pathetic self and to savagely attack people of faith, you perfectly fit the definition of "bigot".
Are you really this stupid, or is this supposed to be a parody?
BTW, as an atheist, being "immoral" should be a merit badge, not a charge to take offense from. But you haven't shown any coherence of thought yesterday or today, so this should be expected.
are you a product of Outcome Based Education?

Why don't you go back outside and play on your skateboard and let the adults slap each other around here? His mommy probably made him come inside and take a bath, eat his dinner, and then do his homework, because it's a school night. It can be tough being in the 7th grade, all those raging hormones, pimples, and braces....

I believe there are alot of philosophers that would say your definition of morality is lacking. In fact it is wrong. Modern ideas of morality come more from greek philosophy than from christian biblical teachings (I mean we suffer witches and don't stone rape victims anymore). In fact if you would bother to read Aristotle you would see most of our modern ideas right there and trust me he wasn't a Christian. The early catholics adopted his ideas to give a framework to Christian teachings that lacked structure. Christ left the church with a set of tall tales rather than a real solid set of moral guidelines Aristotle provided these guidelines. The greeks did not rely on their Gods for moral guidance or standards of conduct.
You need to do your homework on more than just science I see. But then it is ok for people like you to make up definitions out of thin air as long as they suit their purpose. You do it all the time when it comes to science. Don't even try to explain away the importance of Aristotle to the early and modern church you will not be able to do it.

You are the one that is blustering and full of hate. How can i tell it is your need to lie about basic facts and to try to paint me with a brush of racism. What is it a problem when you call me a bigot I turn it around and show how you are one. I mean what is wrong with that. You have shown your ignorant bigotry in more than one post here. See I waited until you acted in a bigoted manner to call you one you started off calling me amoral. (when you don't even know what morality is, how sad).

What truth all i have heard from these people are a pck of lies.
You are the one who wants a police state with no one able to disagree with your foolishness. I only want the luddite christians to shut up for the good of the party I have never supported legislation to keep them quiet. Those same christians certainly support legislation to keep me quiet.
See the difference I say "shut up so you don't hurt the party"
Your group supports legislation against science being taught in school. Thats a huge difference.

You never answered this question: If you were to discover that David Limbaugh is a young earther would you want him ushered out of the Republican party?
To: Dr Warmoose
Moose, what kind of a doctor are you?
To: drstevej
If He doesnt make a federal case out of it no. When These people are screaming young earth and it sounds about as intelligent as someone screaming flat earth. We lose people we even lose normal everday people that don't want to be associated with people they see as ignorant. If he runs around trying to make school teach something like young earth yes he should be escorted out. It makes us all look bad.

I doubt your credentials. How is that. But here is a question Young Earther.
How can light from a star 10,000 light years from the earth reach the earth if the universe is only 6000 years old? Don't cop out and say God created the universe with an appearance of age. That is not a scientific or sufficient answer. If you want to be a scientist you got to be able to answer the question scientifically.
Also don't cop out and say the Universe is older than the Earth. If you are a young earther you know that genesis is specific and that the heavens were created at the same time.

How can light from a star 10,000 light years from the earth reach the earth if the universe is only 6000 years old? The answer would be obvious, except that you're a godless, communist, Nazi, racist, gun-controling, evolutionist, tool of the international conspiracy.

It is really nice to meet so many loving christ like christians. Do you think they forgot their WWJD bracelets. The sad thing is if these people ever get in power in this country they will make the Islamic fanatics look like little mary sunshine. Have you ever read a Novel called "Revolt in 2100" its by Heinlein. It's about a revolt against the American Ayatollahs (who are extreme christians). You would recognize some of the characters from the book in this very thread :)

Haven't read Heinlein's Revoltin in 2010. You seem to have a hard time distinguishing between fiction and non-fiction. You imagine a scenario and then are convinced it's happening.

You know we see all these Creationists with nicks such as Dr this or Dr that. Do they really need that little title on their nicks to make them feel like big men. Instead of penis envy maybe they suffer from brain envy.
