VANITY: The "Truth" about JimRob and Free Republic according to BADJOE
LibertyPost.org | 10/10/03 | BADJOE (Slightly revised by JimRob)

Edited on 10/10/2003 2:27:00 PM PDT by Jim Robinson. [history]

Dear Free Republic Friends,

My old friend and brother-in-arms BADJOE has promised to warm the cockles of our hearts by publishing an expose (the truth about JimRob and Free Republic according to Joe) on the 18th of this month, which represents the one year anniversary of the date he last posted to FreeRepublic.com and started up with LibertyPost.org.

So, as I believe that only the truth can set you free, and based upon the stratergery of pre-emptive strike, I have a confession to make (before BADJOE makes it public):

I have poisoned the well.

By my sly innuendos behind the scenes.

By my intellectual ineptitude.

By not trusting those that brung me to the dance to bring me home.

By my biting every hand that fed me.

By my arrogance that causes me to think I did it all by myself.

By my stubborness not because of principle, but because of my lack of ability to see what is transpiring.

Evidenced by:

One would think that with half again as many Freepers. with a recovering economy, It would take a great deal less time to raise the necessary funds.

By this time in the June 2002 effort with a goal of $70,000 we had raised $73,000. Not because of who did the fundraising, but because the sense of purpose, of family, of comaraderie, was still present.

BADJOE rang the warning bell, but none heard.

Conclusion:

It is a sad day.

For what was once a great hope, a means of bringing together those who are willing to pay dearly in blood, sweat, and money to save this country, we all love, has been reduced to an asterisk.

So sayeth BADJOE as he promises to publish all this and much more on the 18th. He's been feverishly working on this "project" for one full year. In addition to the "truth about JimRob" BADJOE intends to further betray our trust placed in him by revealing the names of our moderators. And who knows what else?

I can hardly wait.

Is it the 18th yet? Tick, tock.

Heh, that's a good idea. I just remembered my favorite line from that tirade: "I wave my privates at your aunties!".

lol No one insults better than the French. (OK, I know it was just a movie and they weren't really French...:^)...)

Hey Jim - you remember this one??? Also a favorite of mine

written by Albert Hammond and Mike Hazelwood
recorded by The Pipkins

That's right, that's right
I'm sad and blue
'Cause I can't do the Boogaloo
I'm lost, I'm lost
Can't do my thing
That's why I sing
Gimme, Gimme Dat Ding ah..

Gimme Dat, Gimme Dat
Gimme, Gimme, Gimme Dat
Gimme Dat Ding, Gimme Dat
Gimme, Gimme Dat, Gimme Dat Ding
Gimme Dat, Gimme, Gimme Dat,
Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, Dat Ding
(Oh Sing it one more time Momma)

Oh, Gimme Dat, Gimme Dat
Gimme, Gimme, Gimme Dat
Gimme Dat Ding, Gimme Dat
Gimme, Gimme Dat, Gimme Dat Ding
Gimme Dat, Gimme, Gimme Dat,
Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, Dat Ding
(Ah, you ain't doin' that late at night)

Ah, what good's a metronome
Without a bell for ringing?
How fast can anybody ever tell he swings?
How can you tell the rhythm written on a bar?
How can you ever hope to know just where you are?
Gimme Dat, (Gimme Dat) Ah Gimme Dat (Gimme Dat)
Ah Gimme Dat, (Gimme Dat) Gimme Dat,
Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, Gimme,
(Ah Gotcha!)

Gimme Dat, Gimme Dat
Gimme, Gimme, Gimme Dat
Gimme Dat Ding, Gimme Dat
Gimme, Gimme Dat, Gimme Dat Ding
Gimme Dat, Gimme, Gimme Dat,
Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, Dat Ding

[Honky Tonk Piano Interlude]

Oh, Gimme Dat, Gimme Dat
Gimme, Gimme, Gimme Dat
Gimme Dat Ding, Gimme Dat
Gimme, Gimme Dat, Gimme Dat Ding
Gimme Dat, Gimme, Gimme Dat,
Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, Dat Ding

Ah, what good's a metronome
Without a bell for ringing?
How fast can anybody ever tell he swings?
How can you tell the rhythm written on the bar?
How can you ever hope to know just where you are?
Gimme Dat, Ah Gimme Dat

Well, I'll behave if you will - we can have our own "Compact" like the CREVOS LOL

How about "We do solemnly swear not to use harsh words toward one another's points of view.......(disclaimer: compact void if we disagree on any subject)"

Well maybe that won't work. lol

I saw a show on "Vendettas" (I think) about where these two families who had been fighting signed a compact not to shoot each other like they had been. They really started killing each other after the compact was signed. Maybe that's the same thing that happened on the Crevo threads.

Don't worry about it, #3Fan. When I was attending the races at Darlington and Charlotte, I always made sure I mooned Dale just as he was coming around in the middle of turns 1 and 2. And Dale, bless his hear saluted me in a most appropriate fashion. It was racin' :-)

lol Another racin' deal?

Did you see that? Tom said Dale has "Fat Fingers"...

He's one to talk. Have you ever seen Tom Servos arms and hands, they just hang there, they serve no purpose. Tom, did you see the one two Saturdays (I think) where the bots were insulting each other? Hilarious.

Jeremiah was a bullfrog; was a good friend of mine. I never understood a single word he said, but I helped him drink his wine. And he always had some mighty fine wine.

Now you're getting into deep psychodelics. You and Rush will be going in on the buddy sytem. lol

Well - it was probably season 9 or 10 which I really didn't pay too much attention to since Mike was starring. It was a helluva lot funnier with Joel/Dr. Forrester And (Push The Button) Frank... Mike's OK - the whole show went downhill after Joel left, though. I have 152 tapings of it. One of these days, I need to transfer to DVD.

No, can't say as I remember that one.

But there's a new one I kinda like:

The drinkin' bone is connected to the party bone
The party bone's connected to the stayin' out all night long
And she won't think it's funny
And I'll wind up all alone
And the lonely bone's connected to the drinkin' bone

I think there are many scientific clues in the bible that may lead to discovery of further scientific principles. I think the bible explains a lot of things that science hasn't got to yet and can be a guide to further discovery.

Wow, do you have all the originals with Joel? Last Christmas I ordered most of the ones with Joel for me and my brother that were available on the internet, there weren't very many that were available. I have all the first ones (with Joel) listed in chronological order which I'm sure you do to. It's fascinating about how that show started.

I don't have the very first season when they were boradcasting from Minn. I'm pretty sure I've got seasons 2,3,5,7,8 and most of the rest. If they ever start running Joels stuff then I'll have to go back and fill in the blanks. But most of Joel, I do have.

Next time you watch Daddy-O, and he's doing the Hike, Hike, Hike song - check out his eyes. That boy was loaded.

And post #2337 still stands. The one that started this mess. *sigh*

Yup, JR has spent the last 200 posts ignoring and defending that slanderous post and then calls those who ask for its removal slanderers. Is it 1984 yet?

You're both way off. "This mess" started with #905, the first mention of crevo threads and banned posters, and #1124, the first explicit mention of ALS, Alamo-Girl and the "stalking" allegations.

Just for the record. No further characterizations of, or opinions regarding, charges or counter-charges will be heard from me. It was done to death a thousand posts ago, with the subsequent messages from ALS himself sealing and clarifying the record quite handily.

"Cut off the head of the Soviet chicken!" Rip Torn as Fargo, "By Dawn's Early Light"

Good movie. Gets my vote for "Most creative use for an H-bomb".
