TOM MCCLINTOCK DAILY EDITION - 10/8/03 - GOING DARK!
Posted on 10/08/2003 7:10:21 AM PDT by Rabid Dog
As many of you know this has been a local, regional, national news and views thread. I want to thank all of you that have respected its intent. When I first started this thead, I was on the fence between Arnold and Tom. Within a week, it became clear that Tom was the man I could respect and support.
Within a month it became clear that the CA G.O.P. was not an organization I could respect and support and so I have switched parties and will be changing my screen name to Rabid Dog.
Tomorrow I am entering Freeper Detox and will be drying out for a week or so but am looking foward to discussing the changes in California under the leadership of our new governor - ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER!!

You are correct, Tom was attempting to benefit Bustamante all the way till election day itself.
He is a pathetic hack unworthy of backing and at most only the abdicators that voted for him could be so blind as to back him in any future attempts.
Tom is through in the Republican party, though none will come out and say it outright.
Look for a party change within a few years.

My eternal thanks to all of you for being the court jesters in this campaign. Its nice when the other side makes the contrast between Schwarzenegger and the bunker mentality of the uber "conservatives" so crystal clear.
May you all be happy in the Libertarian Party, Constimatooshun Party, or whatever splinter group you choose to spin off. (But watch the colloidal silver - blue candidates garner even fewer votes than McClintock did this time around).
Welcome to my world (at least in the governorship in California).

So now its "illogical" not to respect you? That's all I said there. I said more here. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/996923/posts?page=34#34
I see now in your determination to poop up this thread that everything I've said about you is 100% true, Hannityhead.

He might have lost this race, but he's gained national respect. Mr. 13% has gained "national" respect?

Tom wouldn't stand a chance of being elected in a state wide race. sorry but that is the way it is-look at the last race.

My hat is off to you Tombots for your willingnss to fight and hang on.
That having been said, let me add that the one and ONLY reason that McClintock got a pass in this election and wound up doing 13% is that the rat media was proping me up as a way to beat Arnold.
If he runs against boxershorts she will beat him by a large margin. The rats will go into insane mode to protect her and they will slam him into the floor.
The guy's eyes make him look like a fruit fly, it seems like he's looking in three directions at once.
I still have no respect for him.
To: strela
Its nice when the other side makes the contrast between SchwarzeneggerWhat was fascinating was the inability of Arnold's apologists to address the virtually identical positions of Schwarzenegger and Bustamante on the issues.

"He is a pathetic hack"
Is that a fact? How can Mc be a "party hack" when he didn't blindly follow the party line and chose to stand by his core beliefs?
One of the definitions of a party hack in the dictionary is as follows (quoted verbatim):
"A worker for a political party, usually holding office through patronage who Serves his leaders devotedly and unquestioningly".
That sound like Dreier, Issa, Simon, Brulte and all the rest who support the party without question. What say you?
Mc, a party hack? 8>)
