California Democrat Party state spokesman Bob Mulholland said his party is giving Arnold Schwarzenegger just 100 days before a new recall effort may be launched. Mulholland made his threat on Fox News Tuesday night after polls closed and major press outlets declared Arnold Schwarzenegger the winner.
On Tuesday, Gray Davis declined to refute reports that he may back a new recall effort against Schwarzenegger.
Already press reports indicate that Democrats have $3 million prepared for a new recall effort.
Also, Hollywood billionaire Stephen Bing has promised to finance any Democratic-backed recall effort.

They won't get enough signatures on a recall petition.

They're going to overplay their hand here just like they did at the Funerally in Minnesota in 2002 and the Lost Angeles Times Sleaze Offensive of 2003.

They truly have gone completely psychotic. It's embarrassing to even think of. It's so amazing that they have not a particle of shame or decency. I bet a lot of them are having tantrums - screaming, banging their feet and hands on the floor, holding their breath and turning blue.

Good strategy Dems, spend all of your treasury in an ill-fated effort and alienate the populace even more than their unleashing of the scandal machine did. Defeated, not once, but twice, AND broke, such a rosy future in store for them.
Theory is also about recall politics is that after a recall, the public's appetite is significantly diminished for another one.

I don't think so. Mullholland has political turret's syndrome. Crazy things just blurt out!
To: kattracks
Due to today's huge turnout, the threshold for the number of signatures needed for a new recall is much higher than for today's recall.
When the Dems realize this, their legislators will all head to a motel in New Mexico to protest.

Oh, goodie. This'll really tick the Californians off.

The people will be even angrier when they see the RATS time after time going to lawyers and putting elecction results in the courts. It's as if a floodgate has broken and the rats are now trying to intimidate people by threatening to sue - before Arnold has even been sworn in! It's not pretty and it's not a winning position - the rats are going to lose big time by pulling this garbage.

Recall?? Probably not. Impeachment charges, very likely!
