I believe Matthews & Co. are near the beach in Santa Monica.
Matthews has been insufferable tonight. I flip from Fox just to see Peggy Noonan. He and O'Donnell were incredibly patronizing to Larry Elder, among others.

Chris Matthews is a DNC prostitute and McAuliffe is his pimp. And both of them were about to have kittens the last time I saw MSNBC.

OTHER NEWS Don't forget to keep up with the fight for the top ten list- Mary Carey only needs to catch up to reach the height of Gary Coleman to be in the top ten list, but she's getting screwed by not having her porn-star nickname on the list.
Gary Coleman Ind 3,325 0.2
Mary Cook Ind 2,878 0.2

It was a no means yes question: Yes I don't want races tabulated.

I almost went over to the Century Plaza, but figured I'd gather with the other workers.. Instead, well, I've already ranted about it. Next time, I'm going to set up a gathering of real people.

Thanks. On July 2 I predicted the Schwarzenegger victory ("Ah-nold Will Win"). On 12 August, on UPI and elsewhere, I laid out
why the election would go that way ("Nuts and Bolts in California").
And within 10 days I fleshed that out on FreeRepublic, including the prediction that everyone's percentages would shrink between the final polls and the actual voting, everyone except Schwarzenegger, whose percentage I said would increase.
The key to the result was organization, money, and the unique mechanics of this particular election.
Now I ask all possible FReepers to help me do the same thing in Western Carolina. See tagline, or click below, or both.

The press is too stupid to understand these counts are almost all absentee ballots. If the exit polls track it, that means those that showed up at the polls on election day, are much more GOP than normal. It means that the election had a populist GOP flavor. It means that a lot of folks who normally did not vote voted, because they were mad. Maybe some will get it eventually. Right now, it is rather pathetic coverage as per normal. Moreover, none of the idiot talking heads have noticed yet just how many voters that voted no on the recall, did not vote for a replacement. It I suspect will be at least 10% of the total number of votes. I guess we will have to wait for that stat to sink into the the synapses of the habitually obdurate and insensate ones. Why is what is so easy to understand is so hard for so many?

They are on Santa Monica Beach, and that is the boardwalk you see. It is beautiful there, just on that beach last month.

Of this I would have guessed. It is such a sham!!! Did you guys read the voter guide? Those for prop 54 said that it would promote</> a "color-blind society"!! Holy cats; people fell for this, and even on the face of it, it is so irrational!
To: pulaskibush
I don't even know why anyone would vote for her. She's not even good at what she does (chunky).

Anyone checked in in DUmmyland? Sorry. We're receiving scratchy audio, and only a little video. Wait! Something coming in now. It's very faint:
"Ohhhhhhh! You cursed brats! Look what you've done! I'm melting! Melting! Oh, what a world! What a world! Who would have thought a good little party like you could destroy my beautiful wickedness? Ohhh! Look out! Look out! I'm going. Ohhh...Ohhhhhhh!"

Did anyone just hear this discussion of media bias on CNN? Tremendously interesting; I will recap if anyone wants to hear it.Please do.
To: Fledermaus
Wow, Prop 54 got slammed by all voters. I guess everyone loves tabulating and categorizing people by race. Yeah, that's the American way.Not everyone, just CALIFORNIA. This doesn't surprise me because most probably didn't even know what it was about. THIS IS CALIFORNIA, REMEMBER?

But what did Wolfy say? The man worships both papers. He brought up the topic, that maybe the LA Times and NY Times are papers who use the news to advance a political agenda! Or at least, he acknowledged many think that. And then the other guy just responded. I'm so used to them pretending that these issues don't exist except among paranoid right wing nuts.
