Actually, while we can expect some legal moves from the RATS, it's a better situation in California because there are statewide recounting standards for all voting methods used. Well, that's good ! I don't think it will be close enough statewide for any challenge to be much worthwhile. Davis is recalled and, the replacement is clearly going to be ...
Well, you know ! ...

I think a lot of Tombats will be reconsidering their support when they get in line at the voting booths today. At least I hope so. McClintock stands no chance of victory and his stubborness in reaminaing until the end will spell then end of his political career. I would love to see Arnie pull in 51% of the vote just to show these slimeballs that hurling slime doesn't work.
If McClintock were in the lead right now, Gloria Allred would be trotting out a pack of prostitutes who would claim that Tom was a regular customer. This has got to stop. The only way to stop it is to ensure that Arnie gets as many votes as possible.

This is the order of the list for Governor on the Calif State Election site.
[If this the order of candidates on a typical ballot, it is going to take voters a long time to find their candidate on the ballot. This is going to be a nightmare.]

Giving Arnold a landslide win would silence those Democrats who might claim Davis got more votes on the ballot than his replacement did. And I didn't want to put our side in that kind of position.

Consider this possible (albeit unlikely) result, though:
Schwarzenegger: 35%
McClintock: 25%
Bustamante: 23%
Now THAT would humiliate the Democrats.

If you would like to wear that shoe, go ahead. I made no accusations about specific folks here, however Drudge is not impartial. He is a vindictive sleaze. He will do whatever he can to embarrass conservatives. Division within the Republican ranks is what he desires.

I know there was another poll from a major news source that was just a week ago. That one had Arnold 40%, Bustamante 26% and McClintock 18%.

Rush Limbaugh said something to the effect that the two GOP candidates together pull 60% of the vote between them in liberal, Democratic California. You can bet Large Breasts would have loved to have that kind of margin! Alas, its a safe bet he's not going to be getting it today.

Arnold's website has a "Where is Arnold?" service. Type in you address and you get your polling place and the page of the ballot on which Arnold is on. Very Cool.

I was number 3 at my polling place. The ballot is so big that they are using file folders for "secret envelope", and the ballots have to slide into a slot cut into the ballot box.
At least one vote for recall.
