51% FOR SCHWARZENEGGER, 30% FOR BUSTAMANTE, 13% There goes the dim spin.! I wonder what they will come up with now? With this mandate, I hope the dims try the judicial ploy, it will backfire big time.

That's what John and Ken are saying on KFI. Get off work and make sure you vote. Pile on! Make it a massacre!
The cheers here were great when the latest numbers were leaked. Get out the vote, get your friends, give rides to your conservative neighbors.. Make this be the point where liberals will huddle in the corner, whimpering like the weak slime they are, mumbling 'Where did we go wrong..?'
Anyway, I'm outta here for a while. I'll be at the Industry Hills party tonight, hope to hear the cheers of Republicans and the cries of defeat from the RATS.

Yeah, I'm an Indians fan. That makes me an underdog kinda guy, and where are there bigger underdogs in all of sports than Wrigley and Fenway?
I'd really really love an Armageddon Series: Boston v. Chicago.

To: Political Junkie Too
Could this be the election where passions are so high that people turn out to the point that some precincts have over 100% turnout due to fraudulent votes because the Democrats didn't figure on legitimate turnout in those precints to be so high? Don't be surprised if the poop hits the Panasonic tomorrow

The Revolution |
|
Wake up boys, there's a light at the window, I can hear someone knocking on the door, There are voices in the street, And the sound of running feet, And they whisper the word - "Revolution!"
There are men coming down from the valleys, There are tall ships lying off the coast, And they carry the light, In the dark of the night, Like a whisper in the wind - "Revolution!"
Bring my gun and a handful of silver, By the sea we will gather for the fight, It's been so many years, so many tears, We have lost once before, Now we'll settle the score, When our cannons will roar - "Revolution!"
Watch, and wait, get ready for the sign, There are many here among us now, Who have not seen the light, We must send the word to all the people in the land, Go to every hill and mountain, For the time is now at hand, To light a fire! Light a fire, Light a fire!
Let us march the road up the rocky hill tonight, Under cover of the darkness, We will slip behind the lines, And we will take the men who have stolen our land, For the years of domination, Hit them right between the eyes, And light a fire! Light a fire, Light a fire, They will see through the world!

Gray Davis, within 100 feet of his polling place, gives thumbs up and proceeds to bash Arnold in violation of state law. The West Hollywood Los Angeles Sheriffs Department receives dozens of calls to arrest the governor.

He's just protecting himself in the event of a worst case scenario. He even admitted to CNN earlier today that counting of the remaining absentee ballots would be completed by tonight.
Given the margin of victory, there's nothing stopping the counties from certifying their respective totals in a matter of days. There was a lot of talk about delaying the original petition back in July, but look how fast it qualified once the ball got rolling.
I've stated this on a previous thread, and I'll restate it here again: the Dems optimal defensive position is to expedite Arnie's administration so that they can immediately begin attacking him; it makes no sense and is a complete waste of political capital to look like fools contesting the results.
Many here would like to think the Dems are fools, but make no mistake, they are professionals and know damn well how the game is played.

I can see CA going to Bush in '04! It's a long time 'til next year. I'm tickled with GWB's foreign policy, but wish the domestic FedGov influence would be affirmatively reduced. I also hope that GWB is strong enough next year that he won't need CA for a win.

OK so when the Dust settles what will the Big Headline Be? I bet its: TOTAL RECALL! Even better will be the political cartoons. (The web's very best site for checking out the latest -- and not so recent -- political cartoons is http://cagle.slate.msn.com/)
