If things look so good for Ahnold, and a good Republican turnout, what are the prospects for Prop 54?

Chris Matthews now bringing up the "Arnold needs to get more votes than Davis" argument (meaning more votes than the no votes for the recall). Another variant is that Arnold "needs to" get more absolute votes than did Davis last November. THAT hurdle's almost certainly cleared. Davis got 3,469,025 votes then. Arnold looks to be getting well over 4 million today -- and the recall itself, maybe 6 million.

Is there going to be a pool on how soon the 'Rats file their first lawsuit? (No, I didn't read all 1500 posts before posting this. If this is not an orignal query, my profuse apologies.)
By the way, I think I'll watch ABCCBSNBC tonight between the real news on Fox. I love to watch the pompous suffer. Of course, if their boy Gray loses big time, I expect the news breaks to be brief, terse, and grim.
Will Petah sniff, will Stephie cry, will Danny swoon, will Katie die? Oh, it's going to be a bad night and morning for the leftstream media -- yes!

Michael Savage mentioned last night that Davis appointed a large number of liberal judges back when the recall was announced -- something like 200. Would you know if there's any truth to it?

will Arnold get more votes than Grey Davis? Maybe I'm clueless, but I thought Davis wasn't on the ballot. As far as I knew, for the voters to 'vote for Davis' a majority would have to vote against the recall, in which case votes for Schwarzenegger (or anybody else) are meaningless.
But I guess we shouldn't expect facts from Chris Matthews.

These are the same idiots who wouldn't dare say that bill clinton only won with 43% of the vote. It didn't matter then, but, oh I forgot, he was a dem so that's not an issue. They are so bloody transparent it's unbelieveable.

LOL, Kelly O'Donnel on MSNBC reporting that Gray Davis has been praying to St. Jude, the patron saint of lost causes. Then goes on to say that listeners shouldn't read too much into that.

The democrats and their lackeys in the media just don't get it ~ they listen to themselves and think the rest of America is with them ~ *pity* :):)

One part creme de menthe, one part creme de cacao, two parts half and half, equal part ice.
Substituting vanilla ice cream for the ice is really good, too!
The wife usually sneaks in and pours hers over vanilla chocolate chip. She hates mint chocolate chip icecream, but she'll go through several bowls of this version. Mmm.. Chocolate, mint and Republican victory. What a winning combination.

Of course it's not the facts, it's the spin. And that's the spin they have been working on. They are attributing a NO vote on the recall as a YES vote for Davis. So, in order for it to really be a win, Arnold has to get a greater percentage than the percentage voting against the recall. It's a ridiculous argument but that's never stopped them before.
