Michael Savage mentioned last night that Davis appointed a large number of liberal judges back when the recall was announced -- something like 200. Would you know if there's any truth to it?

I don't know the number, but I am sure he appointed as many as he could.

(Why did DemocRATS allow a perjuring rapist to remain in the Oval Office?)

As for the appointments, yes he has been cramming them through. They are not all judges, but a lot are. A majority of them are appointments to various boards and commissions. My buddy in a "senior" State Senator's office say that the calendar for the appointments requiring confirmation has been more packed in the last month than in the last 2 years combined. Many of the appointments are "at will", meaning can be terminated any time. Many of the others are actually termed positions from 2 to 4 to 12 years (only UC Regents get that cushy deal thank God).
