I thought all LIBERALS considered sexual misconduct, including RAPE to be one's own PRIVATE LIFE and separate from one's PUBLIC LIFE. In so much as this ONLY applies to LIBERALS and not conservatives, might I remind everyone that Arnold is NOT a conservative, so to all the whining lefties coming out of the closet to attack HIS PERSONAL LIFE please remember that he is on YOUR side. I just remembered I did something very like this when I was 17 in the early 70's. . There was a girl I worked with that had a huge crush on me and there was just no way she would take no I'm not interested, for an answer. I was getting frustrated about it and on a snap judgement I figured I would turn the tables.

I followed her into a stockroom, turned her around, started kissing her saying that I wanted us to do it right here. I was forceful enough to scare her. (thankfully because I wasn't sure what I would do if she responded). It actually worked.

As someone who despised Clinton, I will say that if I read the same thing about some woman who was linked to Clinton, I would have the exact same reaction. No child should have his name dragged through the mud because of the alleged sins of his parents.

That really sucks. The poor woman just wants to be left alone and these bloodsuckers are going after her just to get a 'story' and apparently a false one at that.

I wish the cracks and insults about Marie could be tempered. This women is no spring chicken any more. She's underweight, no matter the cause, and the stress of the campaign is probably getting to her.

She also has to worry about her children and the safety of her husband standing at podiums and on stages, indoors and outside. Who knows what some nutcase could do? The irregular hours, lack of sleep, food on the run, tension and hot weather can affect anyone's health and stamina.

I campaigned for public office for a total of 10 primaries and generals over a period of 20 years (won each time over the libs, hee hee) Let me tell you, as the wearing, stressful campaigns wore on, I'd begin to feel not too swift myself here and there. Several times, I had minor momentary dizzy spells at some events, and I was a much younger chick then than Maria is today.

Now, if anyone wants to debate Maria's political stances, that's another thing....and fair game she is.

But trashing her on her rather gaunt looks and "guilt-by association" politics because of the trashy/criminal Kennedy connection is a little out of line.

She's supportive of her husband, giving her all while not feeling well, and she deserves some credit for this.

Someone needs to start documenting all the Arnold (athletic)supporters so we can see who is the first to start the whining. I think you Arnie supporters will all wake up with a huge hangover. "Ya all" are too pragmatic for words, how about practical, how about sell out, how about no hope, how about a democrat in dixie is more conservative than you, or maybe too much ambition and not near enough principles. Is anyone buying Drudge's move of printing tons of Arnold smears and saying, "look at all the dirt the media is flinging"? Can he have his cake and eat it too?

Don't kill the messenger. Drudge knows Hollywood inside and out -- that's where he began the phenomenon. and probably could print his own original stories about Arnold if he wanted to.

California and dirty politics go together like beans and flatulence, and even Arnold himself acknowledged that there would be several October Surprises in store. Now, -- surprise! -- they're happening. Is Drudge supposed to ignore it?

You can refuse to let the dirt change your mind, but don't pretend it doesn't exist. That would make you like the Gloria Steinem crowd, who reacted to Paula Jones' story by saying, 'S'what? Clinton only showed his erect penis and asked her to kiss it once, and then he took "No" for an answer! Arnold may deny individual accounts, but he isn't going to say -- as did Clinton -- that there was no there there.

LOL! Someone was just telling me about Dr. Joyce Brothers coming forward with her "grope" story last night -- while she was in her '20's -- that would make it in the 1950's, when Arnold was a child living in Austria.

It wasn't Dr. Joyce Brothers, it was Dr. Joy Browne, a talk-show shrink from before the Rush era.

In the late nineties, after getting a TV talk show deal that Dr. Laura Schlessinger bailed out of, Browne -- in a move reminiscent of Larry King -- dragged out her own skeletons, and laid them out in public to get them out of the way. One of those revelations was that she snorted cocaine in the White House along with a football player who was visiting as a member of a Super Bowl championship team (she refused to identify the player).
