You guys like to blame everybody else for your shortcomings. I could say that the Dems took over California on Tom's watch.

I didn't say he was alone.
Republicans supporting liberals and sabotaging conservative efforts all share in the blame.

Nah...we all lose, but I'll at least have the dubious pleasure of rubbing your face in that fact as Arnold carries out a Liberal agenda.

here in Illinois will vote for him
Really: IL is about as Democrat as CA. Can you hold the Fitzgerald Senate seat next year? Whatever happened to your George "Schwarzenegger" Ryan?
To: Saundra Duffy
If McClintock gains eight points, enough to put him ahead of Bustamante by a point,Not a bad argument but there is that big "IF". The reality is that McClintock has never risen above 18% in polls.

Are you a one issue voter?
If Bustamonte is elected will you put the blame on those who vote for Schwarzenegger?
Further, if Schwarzenegger is elected and does an amazing job for California, will you admit you were wrong?
To: mrs tiggywinkle
Is conservatism one issue?

If Schwarzenegger successfully brings conservatism to California, I will indeed admit I was wrong.
I'll do so every day for a week if I find the time.

McClintock is consistently carrying 15-18% of supporters. He cannot win with those numbers. It amazes me how many here cannot grasp that...or it is pure denial. I refuse to vote for a man that will not win in this particular election season.
To: pgyanke
Oh, is he blaming the party leadership too? I'll trust you on that one. I heard him explain how it was the voter's fault myself.

Those are amazing numbers given the fact that there's another "Republican" in the race.
Had that other guy not decided at his whimsy not to run, McClintock would be 57% or better in the polls.
Probably better, because conservatives who prefer to be left alone, will come out to vote for that guy.

There is no Primary in this election. So, your thoughts that McClintock would be 57% or better in the polls is neither here nor there. I'm not discounting it...just saying it doesn't matter in this particular election.
To: mrs tiggywinkle
What should matter is the whimsy involved in another man's decision to run.

Worse yet, he's been running around saying that more people want him for Governor than Arnold but he can't figure out how to translate this into votes. Absolutely delusional.

Whimsy?
To: Saundra Duffy
How much of the "dirty" campaigning is due to McClintock and how much to the dems ??????
Just wondering....
To: mrs tiggywinkle
Whimsy.
Arnold's decision to run as governor was nothing more than that.

I don't know any successful businessman who has done things to this scale, on a whim. So, I respectfully disagree.
So...ya wanna check out the truck theft thread? :o)

"....why post all of this on your about me page then, if your are not voting for your true beliefs??????????????"
I never ever saw a politician hold my true beliefs and never will.
