FReepers, the Left and it's media shills rely on what they believe is our stupidity. We're not supposed to be able to do this kind of research and piecing together of facts to uncover, if not the complete truth, certainly at good outline of it. So I urge you to read this material carefully and pass it on to as many news and information sources as you can. We CAN fight back.

Note how, between February and July, Wilson's story morphs from no mention during the Moyers interview, to a phone call to State to voice concern, then a statement indicating that he's OK with everything as long as the Administration admitted its SOUA mistake, to the above quote with its suggestion of danger to kids, to where we are today.

Excellent work.

I would add this anti-war column written by one Joseph Wilson in The Nation:

Republic or Empire?

Issue date of The Nation is March 3, but note, web posted on February 13, 2003.

This dovetails with your post-SOTU/pre-NY Times no mention of any concern regarding the representations made by President Bush in his speech in reference to uranium and Africa.

Also, I'm sure you see that Wilson writing in The Nation means it is no surprise that it is David Corn that starts the drumbeat about the "outing" of Plame.

Those news stories about that unnamed former envoy who went to Niger? That's me...In February 2002, I was informed by officials at the [CIA] that Vice President Dick Cheney's office had questions about a particular intelligence report. While I never saw the report, I was told that it referred to a memorandum of agreement that documented the sale of uranium yellowcake...by Niger to Iraq in the late 1990's. The agency officials asked if I would travel to Niger to check out the story so they could provide a response to the vice president's office."Those news stories about that unnamed former envoy who went to Niger? Agency officials asked him to check out the stry so they could provide a RESPONSE to the VP office......iteresting word...response....and while he says he did NOT see the report, my guess is that the lovely Mrs. Rosenberg-Wilson did see it!!! Maybe...just maybe it contradicted everthing that Ethel Plame had put into HER reports!

So when the VP needs a RESPONSE by the CIA, who do they send....someone who does NOT WORK for the CIA.....wow...now that makes sense!!!

If your boss needs a something done, do you send your friend to do it?

The Rosenberg-Wilsons are a very interesting little couple....he being the Ambassador t IRAQ when the FIRST Gulf War crap hit the fan.......so he HAS been in touch with Saddam....maybe friendly...and maybe his wife is friendly also in her reporting.....hmmmm...stay tuned. Was Joe Rosenberg-Wilson on TV today???

EXCELLENT compilation, Wolfstar! Now the leftist WOMEN, led by Barbara Boxer, are chipping at the sexism angle because the supposed covert officer is a woman. These people are desperate!

Wilson outed his own wife in his bio. Is anyone investigating or charging him with anything?

Greetings FReeper Wolfstar:

NICE WORK!

One can only wonder if career diplomat bureaucrat Wilson's spouse was terminated for cause from her job a CIA operative. We sure heard enough complaining from the Washington Press Corps(e) over the lack of leaks from the Bush White House. "Loose lipped" morons are always popular with lazy reporters.

Chances are that over the years, many reporters, including Novak, used mopes like Ms. Plume-Wilson as an "anonymous CIA source," and former Ambassador Joseph Wilson as an "anonymous administration official."

One question ‘rats on the Congressional investigation will not ask: "Ambassador Wilson, who signed the travel orders authorizing your travel to Niger for a conclusive investigation determining if, and when Iraqi agents sought the purchase of uranium?"

I have been reading your excellent research for a couple of hours and it exceeds anything any reporter has done to date on this subject. The information you have assembled has so many implications that I finally started taking notes.

One thing coming through loud and clear--Ms.Plame and Mr.Wilson have an agenda to discredit not only Bush, but the CIA officials that didn't give his "investigation" much credence. His puffed up sense of self importance and need for recognition is obscene and quite nauseating. It had to have been obvious to those in the CIA that knew the couple where the information being printed in left leaning publications was coming from. Solution... the leakers accuse the ones they savaged as being vicious leakers.

The storyline the dems have created around this one man and his wife just doesn't flow smoothly. It works in the media because most reporters don't have the slightest curiosity once the dems have given them the talking points. The fact they have a lawyer, which "reportedly" is to see who they can sue,is dubious at best. But alot is suposition right now and I can only hope some filth is cleaned out during this fiasco and that Bush sees being nice to dems in Washington gets you nowhere especially with the Clintons and their cronies still running the party.

I have benefited greatly from all your hard work Wolfstar. For those of us that have kindergarten level computer skills, it is awesome to see the incredible creativity and quick research done on FR.

HUMMMM this is interesting. Wilson is admitting that his wife (unnamed) sent him to Niger to prove that the info that British and american Intel had was wrong. NOW MAY I ASK THE OBVIOUS. Is there any doubt in anyones mind that he would come back with a different conclusion? His little treasonous action by him and his wifey didn't work, so he planted a story, there by sending the MSM pig rutting around for his wifes name. I think they may have wove themselves a web that is going to be difficult to get out of.

"So I urge you to read this material carefully and pass it on to as many news and information sources as you can. We CAN fight back."

Sorry but I want no part of it. Let me explain why:

Just finished watching a FOX NEWS segment, the guest was an author who detailed the links between Iraq and Al Qadea pre 911.

He now is saying there have been documents from the Fallen Iraq government that detail how Saddam funded al-Zarqawi and other terrorists pre 911.

I fear this whole Rove/Plame BS is an attempt by the DEMocraps to distract the public from the fact that Iraq was lip-deep in funding terrorism against the USA long before the Iraq war started.

So I am not going to participate in a probable "churn" to help these bastards.

This whole thing stinks. It's as if the CIA is using the Democrats to undermine the President of the United State in the same way they do in third world countries. I don’t understand how a CIA agent (Plame) can get away with caring out a "mission" without any approvals, and then have her husband use the mission to try and undermine the United States which was planning the next war front on terror.

She should be in jail for treason - along with her husband. Instead the CIA allows her to become some twisted sort of American hating hero to the left, and we have to sit on our hands while the network news (gossip) re-packages it as the sandal of a lifetime. I hope that the “moms” and “pops” are smart enough to see the whole story.
