WHICH MCCLINTOCK TO BELIEVE? TOM PROMISED HE WOULDN'T BE A SPOILER
KFI 640 | Matt Garrett

Posted on 10/01/2003 2:01:48 PM PDT by MattGarrett

On today's RECALL CENTRAL on KFI 640, they had the head of the "Lincoln Republicans" of Orange County. He stated that Tom McClintock had assured him that he would not stay in the race to play spoiler if it looked like he couldn't win. He promised that he would bow out before the election if his numbers didn't assure victory.

Other Cal GOP leaders were quoted as saying the same.

And yet, McClintock has vowed to stay in the race to the bitter end.

So, the question is ...

Which McClintock do we believe?

Blah, blah, blah, principles, blah blah blah,

Sounds like an impeachment opponent - like Arnold.

I highly resent the implications everytime I see them, and believe me, yours is not the first, that any of us would vote for either Dasshole or Clinton if they put an R after their names.
I will gladly vote for Tom, if you can prove he can win and defeat Davis and or Cruz!

Stop trying to put words in my mouth. I'm all for the recall, but if it were strictly Tom vs Cruz, Tom would get trounced, and then where would you be?

Its amazing, the lengths some go to defend the indefensible, I guess its a cognitive dissonance thing.

Same goes for Rush, too bad he was against medical marijuana, he coulda used that to kill the pain, and not be addicted...

Then I know him as a self-centered and stubborn man who won't "take one for the team."
