A PRAYER OF PROTECTION
The light of God surround you The love of God enfold you The power of God protect you The presence of God watch over you Wherever you are,God is, And all is well. Amen.
Bless This House
Bless this house O Lord we pray;
Make it safe by night and day;
Bless these walls so firm and stout,
Keeping want and trouble out:
Bless the roof and chimneys tall,
Let thy peace lie over all;
Bless this door, that it may prove
ever open to joy and love.
Bless these windows shining bright,
Letting in God's heav'nly light;
Bless the hearth a'blazing there,
with smoke ascending like a prayer;
Bless the folk who dwell within,
keep them pure and free from sin;
Bless us all that we may be
Fit O Lord to dwell with thee;
Bless us all that one day we
May dwell O Lord with thee.

An Iraqi bride and groom are greeted by a soldier as they pass through a security checkpoint outside a Baghdad hotel on their wedding day Saturday.
The Captain explains that only SHIP CAPTAINS at sea can perform marriage ceremonies.
A soldier stands guard Wednesday as Iraqi mothers wait at a school in Baghdad for a ceremony marking the beginning of the new academic year. Children across the city began to arrive at their schools Wednesday to register and, if lucky, receive textbooks. Though new books were promised, many schools have yet to receive them and were distributing last years books.
An impromptu line up is formed in order to determine who was the culprit that left the toilet seat up.

Iraqi students gather near U.S. Army soldiers for the official start of the new school year, in the capital Baghdad, October 1, 2003.
The captains toss a coin in order to determine who will pick first on the pick-up baseball game.
Iraqi girls watch US soldiers from their classroom during the opening ceremony of the Dufuf al-Neil elementary school in Baghdad.
The contempt that Iraqi girls hold for the American GIs is clearly evident as this image proves.
A US soldier on patrol in Tikrit.
The Open House was a disappointment as the trooper realized that he simply could not come up with a down payment large enough to purchase the modern day villa in the prestigious section of town.
