It's not about winning for them.
It's about defeating Arnold...
To: Robert_Paulson2
How very sad for them. It's kind of like a woman scorned type of thing, huh?

"The owner of this site agrees with me on Keyes."
correct me if I am wrong via freepmail... or on this thread, sink or ms anti fem... do you remember a particular ceremony wherein Alan Keyes specifically called President Bush an "evil" man? Or something much worse?
To: Slip18
first of all : DoughtyOne rocks... although I often do NOT agree with him. What a gentleman.
second of all: I am not sure I would ever feel too sad about them... but I do see the woman scorned angle... and agree with you.
third of all: take a look at this thread when you get a few moments.

RINOS don't like to take responsibility for their actions. But they must. If THEY support Arnold THEY support the killing of 3000 unborn babies everyday. Stop being RINOS AND YOU WON'T BE A RINO. But if your supporting ProAbortion, ProGay, ProIllegal Immigration, AntiGun candidates like Arnold then you ARE 100 % point of fact, RINO.
RINO Orwellian twistings and bendings of PRINCIPLES AND DECENCY are shameless and have, now, consigned them to irrelivance and meangless stature IN THE MINDS OF RINOS.

If
THEY YOU pay taxes support Arnold THEY YOU support the killing of 3000 unborn babies everyday.
It is the law of the land Tomas. McClintock is not saying he will do anything to change the abortion laws in California... laws in place since Ronald Reagan signed them into law several decades back...
Arnold is for parental notification and the end of partial birth aborition. Bustamente and Davis oppose both. Get your head on straight and stop screaming about Arnold, as long as you are voting for abortion, every time you pay your taxes... directly from your paycheck...
To: TomasUSMC
"On the social issues on which we can have an effect, Schwarzenegger is with us. He is for parental notification in abortion, and against partial birth abortion. In the abortion debate in California, that is all we can affect at this time, without a major change in the law, the legislature, and public opinion. He is with us. He is against gay marriage. Domestic partnerships are already in law, and we can't change it until we change the legislature. By that time, we will have the chance to work on him, and show him the wisdom of our position. The same with guns. There is nothing he would do to make things worse than they already are, and nothing he could do to make things any better in our current environment. His base is correct, that is something to build on."
disagree? take it up with Ray Hayes, CA congr district 66

Thanks for referring me to that article. Makes sense to me, but I will read it another time when my eyes are feeling a bit less tired.
I also don't agree with D-1 on a few subjects, but as you said, he is a gentleman. And he is honorable.

D-1, I don't know how you've stood up to this McClintock gang for the last few weeks. They have good intentions, I know. And they have real issues with Arnold Schwarzenegger. But, my gosh, can't they see McClintock doesn't have a chance in hades of winning this election? Are they so blinded by their self-rightiousness?
I have followed your posts, and I, personally, am proud of you.

My reaction to nice posts like this is to say thanks and remind folks that I'm neither a paragon of virtue or the pariah of a moralless leftist wasteland. I really do try to keep my cool, but there are times when I fail. I have to accurately assess where we're at and make rational decisions based on those assessments. I'm willing to explain what my thoughts are and why. Others can agree or disagree, but it helps when they are willing to look at reality as well. We all like what Tom stands for. At 15-18% of the vote, he isn't electable. No amount of wishful thinking is going to change reality here. No amount of personal insults is going to change that reality either.
I appreciate your comments. That was nice of you.

Thanks again, but I'm disappointed to hear we disagree on some issues. Agreeable disagreements are such sweet sorrow. ;-|

I also preferred Bush to Pat Buchanan... OR Alan Keyes. I'm no social conservative, but both Buchanan and Keyes were better than Bush. Keyes for his economic policy (abolish the personal income/corporate/capital gains/gift & estate taxes, replacing them with a national sales tax), and Buchanan for his foreign policy (America First, foreign non-intervension, a republic not an empire).
I'll vote for Arnold, but never again for Bush. In 2004 I'll vote Libertarian, no matter who the Dems run against Bush.
To: Robert_Paulson2
RINOS support Arnold MEANS RINOS support the killing of 3000 unborn babies everyday.
McClintock is saying he IS PRO LIFE.
Arnie says he is Pro CHOICE = Pro abortion!
State funding goes to killing unborn babies every day. Arnold will continue the funding of the murder of innocent children before they are born.
Arnold is for parental notification and the end of partial birth aborition but also the slaughter of 3000 unborn children every day. Bustamente and Davis also support the killing of 3000 unborn children every day.
Arnold and Davis and Bustamonte support the same thing in being ProAbortion, ProIllegal Immigration, Anti 2nd amendment.
Get YOUR head on straight and stop screaming about Arnold, as long as you are voting for abortion.

I doubt these folks will get more than 2-3% collectively.
To: Commie Basher
Good then talk tom into moving into your camp. He's going to be looking for a new home...
I am not a Libertarian per se. On social issues perhaps "l" little elle...
To: TomasUSMC
I will believe you are a serious pro lifer, when you stop paying taxes.
Until then, you are just as responsible as the one who pays, as are the ones who obey the law and allow choice.
To: BlackElk
BZZZZT! I'm sorry, that's not correct. But thank you for playing.

I've been telling the Arnold-bots that the a large percentage of Democrats would cross over and vote for
any Republican candidate, because Bustamante and his militant, MEChA minions scare the hell out them for a couple of weeks, now.
There are plenty of Democrats that don't want to be a Marxist/Socialist satellite of the Mexican government, either.
They don't want to hear how badly they've been SUCKERED into splitting the Conservative vote.
They don't want to hear how Bustamante has split the Democrat vote and it's there for the taking.
Their egos won't let them.
They have a chance to elect a Conservative governor and they're blowing it badly.

do you remember a particular ceremony wherein Alan Keyes specifically called President Bush an "evil" man? Or something much worse? I googled '"Alan Keyes" "baby killer" Bush' and '"Alan Keyes" "evil man" Bush' and did not see anyhthing.
