I'd like to know if there is still a place for me as a conservative, or if I'm just some RINO who needs to be purged. The unappeasables are being purged. Fret not.

think Arnold is headed for victory, though I believe that McClintock is far more qualified for the job. I happen to think that one important qualification for governor is the ability to get elected. Therefore I think Arnold is more qualified.

McClintock has gotten so screwed by the turn-coat Republicans - they stood in line to stab him in the back, and after all McClintock has done for the CA GOP. It's unbelievable. I think that there will be many weeping over this come time when Arnold is shown on TV signing a bill giving illegal children free lunches, and abortions on demand for anyone coming across the border pregnant!!!!

I happen to think that one important qualification for governor is the ability to get elected. That's how Bill Clinton became gov of Arkansas. They thought he was cute. Well, maybe McClintock is not as cute as Arnie but McClintock is a true blue conservative. Go, McClintock! www.helptom.com

THAT's a photo op that Davis will eagerly miss. I wager their will be NO photograph that shows S being sworn in with D even in the same zipcode.

None of the people you cite as examples were as far down as McC is now. Truman, by the way, refers to a non-scientific, volunteer-your-response poll.

The Commode is overflowing. To use another overblown Roman Empire analogy, the CA "Rea' Conservatives" are lining up to play Ricimir and Stab the Courageous Stilicho 'Swarzenegger".

Has anyone thought about what might happen if McClintock drops out and davis then cuts loose with some serious dirt on Arnold?Yeah, Davis' poll numbers will slide further into the toilet. Arnold has already innoculated himself by warning of Davis' last-minute "desparation" attacks.
To: Vinomori; BlackElk
he's a professional politician whose career means everything and the good of the people means nothing NOTHING to himYou obviously don't know McClintock. He's a tried and true Republican conservative. I guess that's why you don't like him. No conservative in her/his right mind would even consider FOR ONE SECOND voting for Schwarznkennedy. I don't want the Kennedy's running California. I'm funny that way. Go, McClintock! www.helptom.com

Good Grief! McC narrowly lost last time statewide when he was running against a nobody. Now he's running against a somebody plus a half a somebody. Or hadn't you noticed?
And assuming your stat is correct that McC outpolls S among "independents." Please state your plan for keeping any Republicans or Democrats from voting in this election, since S has a lead among both of those groups.
Don't you ever sit back and think about what you're posting?

I wager their will be NO photograph that shows S being sworn in with D even in the same zipcode. How much? $5 via PayPal? Gray has to leave his office at some point (or if he's out of Sac on the 7th, never go back?); all Arnie has to do is show up at the same time and let the photogs capture the moment.
To: CyberAnt
You are upset because S is getting support "from all over the country"? I'm preparing to run for Congress, right now. If I could not raise money from outside my district I would not bother to run. The people who have known me best -- fifty years or more -- are OUTSIDE my district.
Seeking such contributions is apparently wrong in your view. Please explain why you think that.

I don't care if you comment .. commenting is fine - it just that I don't appreciate being called names and being insulted and insulted and insulted again and again and again - because I support someone other than Arnold.
I don't care if you support Arnold - but you have no right to tell me who I can or cannot vote for just because it isn't the person YOU WOULD VOTE FOR! I just sick of it!!
