Hello. I'm new to this forum and this is my first post. JustPiper, I'm so happy to hear that you took the time and made the effort to "greet" the Invaders! Way to go!

After reading your account, I'm a little worried about tomorrow when the illegals show up here in Indianapolis. I have organized a small protest. The signs are made. The fact sheet is compiled. The media has been notified, along with INS, and the batteries for my camcorder and camera are charged! We will be a rag-tag bunch, myself and four others, and I'm PRAYING that there are other protests that have been planned that I just haven't heard about. In any event, I WILL be there and anyone who cares to look my way WILL KNOW MY POSITION!

What bothers me the most is the laziness with which people view this issue. Everyone I talk to is just OUTRAGED. However, it seems that nothing outrages them enough to actually do something about it. What they don't realize, at least I don't believe they realize it, is that by not taking action...by concentrating only on going to work to pay their bills and their taxes....it has allowed our country to become morally bankrupt. The communist/socialist organizations are well-organized and find it easy to make spectacles of themselves in protests. Conservatives have been generally too polite to do such a thing. I'm glad we have Freepers who are rectifying that situation!!! It's time to fight fire with fire!

Some of us are willing to spend our whole lives fighting these and other issues i want my children to grow up in a free country and right now we have way to many people willing to chuck it all away for a little bit of so called security

I was told that there is a law that people cannot do this. That they can't wear masks like that in public. It was somehow related to the Klan. I'm not sure that there is such a law but if there's not there certainly should be. IF THERE IS SUCH A LAW, why can these particular people get away with this? Also, why shouldn't all of us be able to see this kind of behaviour on the news? Why aren't people allowed to see what is really happening in this country?

It's true that Victoria's examples show cut rates, but the fact is that illegals do get a lot of free stuff.

Free medical care in the Emergency Room is probably the most costly to taxpayers, but that's just the tip of the iceberg.

And when you consider they shouldn't be here in the first place - that they should get a visa/green card and work here legally - then it's not hard to believe that everything they receive is free, courtesy of US taxpayers.

You can remind folks that if they entered Mexico illegally the way the illegal Mexicans enter the US, they would be UNDER the Mexican jail for MONTHS if not years and it would cost them big $$$.

It must have been chilling for you and your kids to watch those Creepy Invading Marxist Rabble Rousers (criminals) gather out in the open and talk freely about their incredulous demands and plans of conquest. That they can do this without any fear shows how far our Republic has fallen.

Meanwhile, OUR politicians are tripping over themselves to appease these Strident Alien Insurrectionists with more welfare and extra-rights at the expense of American Citizens while keeping our borders wide open to this Invasion. It's pure Treason in my book. The more we give this Illegal Lot (whose only right is for a speedy deportation) the more contemptuous and bolder they get.

I sure will. Back in 1996 our union went out on strike for 99 days and alot of illegals were the ones crossing the picket line as replacement workers. Alot of us will not forget this, including our present day local president. This I can stress on all of our members.

I will try to become more involved in our union on issues that concerns the more conservative members like illegal-immigration. At the very least try to keep them in check on where our money goes.

How right you are WRhine. It our own people who are letting this happen. I've written both my state rep. (a dem) and my state senator (a republican) about illegal immigration. We are now just starting to see new arrivials in North St. Louis County which has been traditionally just whites and blacks. Now more Mexicans and Muslim Bosnians are filtering in. I do not want these people in my neighborhood if they are getting subsidies or being sponsored by rich liberals who live in other neighborhoods. Nothing destroys middle and working-class neighborhoods faster than Section-8 housing.

We have to somehow take this battle right to the source. The elite politicians.

Taking a quote from the great Air Force General, Curtis LeMay, "The hell with swatting flys, go straight to the manure pile". He could have been talking about the politicians of today.
