Huffington won this thing, hands down. Way to go, Arianna! If the definition of winning is appearing as the most insufferable person on the panel, I agree.
PS: She is a Dimo plant (ala Perot) who is probably being paid by the Dims while simultaneously collecting film and notes for a self-serving book and movie. She is taking attention away from those who are really interested in and able to solve California's problems. She is no better than Imelda Marcos with her 10,000 pairs of shoes and 85 IQ.

Nobody else noticed (I believe) that the moderator called Arianna "Ms. Camejo" at one point, have they? We were all laughing about that little goof too. Ooh, is he married? Could there be a wedding in the future?
He also referred to her as "Governor Schwarzenegger."

Arianna was just on Greta Facelift (Fox News) and said Arnold made reference to a movie where a woman's face was pushed into a toilet. She said he implied he could get her the part or words to that effect. Is this true? I listened to 90% of the debate and did not hear this.

The 1976 election was quite close, in fact.
Jimmy Carter wrecked the economy and let the Shah fall, with consequences to the Middle East that we are still paying for.

For those who didn't see "Greta Van Lawyer's show on FNC.
After debate interviews;
Bustamante ran off, not taking any questions.
Arianna was just on. She explained Arnold's T-4 comment. She said it refers to a part in T-3 where Arnold stuck a woman's head in a toilet.
I changed my mind on Arnold's comment. It's just plain mean. That's a hell of threat to do to a toilet. The toilet never hurt anyone, it doesn't deserve Arianna's head in it after all the crap it takes.

"Arianna was passionate." Seemed more like that time of the month to me.

"What makes real candidates? Someone that's been at the public trough most of their life?..... If so then, yes those two are the real candidates....."
Fair enough question, but note that the most professional and knowledgeable candidate happened to be Tom McClintock.
Arnold has made a good case for his qualifications as a businessman and someone who has done much for charities, etc., as a commited citizen. But Peter Ueberroth had an even better track record there, especially his leadership in the olympics; the difference in the polls of course was/is Arnold's celebrity status as an actor, not his community involvement with special olympics or after-school programs or (god forbid) being a budget expert.
Now, Arriana has no more reason to be in the debate than the other 130 or so non-professional never-elected candidates who are also in low single digits. Her "celebrity" status is of a particularly parasitic and useless kind.

With republicans voting as you did, Ronald Reagan would never had been able to save this nation. It is only those that had the forsight to be willing to consign the nation to a hell of four years were able to save the nation for the future.

If McClintock plays his cards the way I think, he will swiftly throw his support behind Arnold. He established National bona fides tonight, and if he steps aside for the party, it will not be forgotten by the powers that be.!! Exactly. If he won tonight, has can claim a victory for the long term.
If he steps aside and for some reason Arnold still loses, I think he would still be in a good position for a later election. JMHO.

Sticking Arianna's head in a toilet or your own butt; how would a toilet know the difference?
To: sarasmom
It's called freedom of ideas and expression. We have that in California (at least in the private sector).

Passive aggressive. Like a neon sign crackling and popping. His condescension was a major failure. He reminded me of a scorned brat. Then he ran from the reporter's questions outside in the "spin room." and was roundly criticized for it on every channel I watched. Reporters are dying to ask him about his campaign finance trickery.

I think it was good for Californians to see true conservatism in a debate, so I'm glad McClintock has stayed in. He also mentioned he was pro-life, supported the 2nd Amendment, and said he was against the drivers licesnses for illegals. From what I saw, hands down, McClintock is better than Arnold. Now is he electable? I'd bet McClintock and Arnold are working on their deal right now. I'd LOVE to see McClintock run against Boxer for Senate!

The only reason why Arnold may have seemed statesman like is because Tom helped him. Even the crowd of Democrats I was with saw that clearly. (I'm slowly weaning them off their 'victim' party.)
Cruz's performance scares me. Completely. The wild rumor posted a few comments back about his perhaps dropping out rings rather true, when you combine it with his lackluster performance.
Anyway, I believe that Arnold will win the second part. I'm now fearful about the first part.

She said it refers to a part in T-3 where Arnold stuck a woman's head in a toilet. Let's hope Arnold's campaign can come up with a more generic explanation. I agree about the toilet.

And why did the nation get in such a state? Four years of Jimmy Cahtah, that's what!!
Maybe we should elect Ted Kennedy President. That way the country can go completely to hell, and a new Republican savior can pull us out of hell.
Surely you jest!
