Not quite (hurricanes are incredibly unpredictable), but it sure looks like it's taking dead aim at the RATs in the Senate.

The Weather Channel just said it will effect all the way to upstate New York.

Last night TWC was talking about hi surf warnings all up the e. coast into N.E. Assume that still holds.

If it comes in on its current path Long Island will not be affected too much. Some rain and high winds. However, as stated, hurricanes are too unpredicatable to write it off at this stage. Best to continue preparing for it and keep an eye on the weather channel until it makes landfall.
