Heh Heh,,what are husbands for? They put things together. But truly, I look at a diagram to put something together and it just looks like doodling to me. All those arrows and slots and lines, just too much.

Just for grins, I ran through the test a second time, answering "A" to every question, except where I knew (believed?) "A" to be correct. Answering every question incorrectly, to the best of my ability, I came up with an IQ of 72 and was deemed an "INVENTIVE INQUISITOR", described thus:
"We also compared your answers with others who have taken the test, and according to the sorts of questions you got correct, we can tell your Intellectual Type is an Inventive Inquisitor. You have the unusual distinction of being equally good at math and verbal skills. This means you are a creative thinker and are uniquely good at teaching others through experiences. You are also a great improviser and very good at handling change."
I wonder how many IQ points they give out for breathing?

Oddly enough, my 13 year old (in 9th grade) took it and scored a 122 also.

>>"I don't care what people's test scores --- I'd like to see how many signed up to buy the information ---- the real test of intelligence."<<
I've been redeemed! Not only did I not sign up to buy anything, I didn't put my real email address even tho the note said that was how I was going to get the results, which, now that I think of it, was a durned lie.
So there!

"175 with a big schlong"
What does that mean?

Oh my,,you lied to the IQ tester? Now that is shameful. I do wonder, my IQ has declined since college but I do think I am smarter than I used to be. In college I sang protest songs, voted democratic and wanted to be a communist. I thought my parents were stupid and conservative and judgemental. Now I know they were right, the dems are stupid and most of the clothes I wore were stupid. And my IQ is lower. It just doesn't make sense.

I chose coconut because I thought (?) a coconut was a seed whereas the others have seeds inside. I don't understand why it's grape. Anyone have a better explaination?Grapes grow on a vine, the rest grow on trees.

Huh? If Jack catches up at the end then don't they tie? They both average 20 mph and go the same distance.Think of it this way: say the distance between X and Y is 30 miles. So, at 30 mph, Jack reaches Y in one hour. Then, he turns around and cruises the 30 miles at 10 miles/hour, taking him 3 hours. One hour + three hours = four hours for the round trip. Sandy cruises the total round trip of sixty miles at 20 mph = it took her three hours versus Jack's four.

Actually, it was a 3-4-5 right triangle in a multiple of 2 i.e. 6 (2x3) -8 (2x4) so the hypoteneuse had to be 10 (2x5). Twice that was 20.
At least, that's how I got there.

No, no, your score is more recent. I bow to
your intellectual superiority. I've had lots of blonde moments lately, as well.
I don't think scotch would help. I guess I've led a very sheltered life -- I recently had my first hangover, and I'm 46 and a grandmother. My best friend was getting remarried after being widowed, and I had two glasses of wine at a party on an empty stomach. (AND PEOPLE ACTUALLY DO THIS TO THEMSELVES INTENTIONALLY??) LOL
To: cajungirl
Maybe it's just that the test was written by liberals, and in such a way as to make conservatives score lower. (hey, complaining about the test works for them, right?) :-D

I can't get the link to load from the article source. Can anyone provide the URL for the site in question?
