I sure do remember the "Tribute to the Americans" and yeah CKLW was out of Canada wasn't it? lol But I always associated it with Motown – Dee-troit because of all homegrown sweet soul music they played.

CKLW was out of Canada...

Yes. I remember the first time I heard the call letters. I'd just moved to A2 from DC and thought, what the heck kind of call letters are those? Took me a while to realize I could get Canadian stations in A2.

Faygo, Vernor's, and Orange Julius were the big taste sensations the first time I moved to A2. Never got used to Vernor's or Orange Julius. Faygo put out a pretty decent soda.
