I will never forget - I was on my way to the health club when I heard about the first plane and I thought it was terrorism instantly. I remember thinking they like that building. I got to the club and asked the kid at the desk if they knew yet whether it was terrorism or an accident. He gave me the oddest look - "it was an accident" he said.

I hopped on the treadmill and saw the second plane hit on live TV. The moron at CNN wondered if there was something wrong with air traffic control and I lost it. I screamed at the TV - "say the T-word, it's terrorism, you dolt!"

I had to stop working out and go home in utter despair when the Pentagon was hit. I thought our country was coming to an end. I went home and turned on Fox news and got on my knees and prayed...no, I will never forget.

Yep ! I will never forget where I was when I heard about the first plane hitting the WTC.

I was at work, it was just before 8 a.m. Central time. Carol, one of my employees had her radio on. She said They just said that a plane hit the WTC Tower. I quickly replied You're kidding ? ... [pause] ... no, Carol, you wouldn't kid about something like that ...

Of course, we had no idea at the time what kind of plane, etc. at that moment, all the details were pretty sketchy in the first few moments. And of course I went to my computer and came over to FR and saw the breaking news posts. There was breaking news there ALL day long. When the SECOND plane hit, I told my office that it was opinion that this was the work of ObL because it was his style and that I thought he'd tried before in 1993.

Anyway, that whole day was a total waste for work ... almost. I'll never forget that day ...
