What's relevant is did he do it and if he did and if it can be proved in court and if so, then he must pay. He doesn't have my sympathy, but I do think he deserves the due process owed every citizen of our country.

He expressed concern the government was going to make an example of him. While on one hand I might not want to see the brat in a federal penitentiary, I do think that they need to make an example of him. That brat knew exactly what he was doing and the potentially devastating consequences of his actions and yet he apparently thought it was a big joke.
If he were my kid--well, I won't go there. I would probably be arrested.
