"Don't forget the best spagetti western ever made, "Once Upon a Time in the West". Bronson and Fonda were great in it."
Interesting to note the similarities between this fantastic movie and "Once Upon a Time in America" by the same director.
Both really good movies and background music!

I'm just off harbor, on the way to Sharkies.
Near the end of the runway that those damn terrorists
practiced on. Those ba$tard$ flew right over our house.

I would not have guessed he was 81. Died of pneumonia with his wife at his bedside per Geraldo who is wearing a tuxedo tonight and appears to be on yacht or a dock. Fox News Channel.

I agree with the greatest western being "Once upon a time." The climax of the movie, with the flash-back scene cuminating in the quick-draw is unforgetable.

"Once Upon A Time In The West"
The greatest western ever made.
I agree.

So sorry to hear that. He had a great career and even more importantly, it seems like he was a good man. His Great Escape scenes were excellent, in a film full of incredible actors. (As a kid, I was a major David McCallum fan (well, still am) and couldn't understand at the time why Jill Ireland was dumping adorable McCallum for rugged Charles Bronson. It was my first hint that life was a little more complicated than I thought!)

bttt. Please tell Fox to keep working the Terri Schiavo story or else she'll be deceased in a few weeks. Thanks. Bill O' Reilly's & Hannity have been covering this Fla. story.
Back on topic, I liked Charles Bronson but The Great Escape always scared me because I was a little kid when it came out. Our dad always took us to war movies at driveins and then I'd have bad nightmares about carpet bombings. "Hello, parents." They never put two and two together so they got to enjoy my screams in the night throughout grade school. I don't go to war movies to this day. Charles Bronson did plenty of lone ranger type roles.
